RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 7 March 2018 – Eight airmen of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) including 2 Officers attended a 3-day Permit-to-Work (PTW) Course conducted by Megamas Trg Co Sdn Bhd at the Bulk Fuel Installation (BFI), Rimba Air Force Base.
Permit-To-Work system is a formal written system used to monitor potentially hazardous duties in respect to health and safety. The PTW system may also extend to safe systems of work for many maintenance activities.
For the RBAirF, the aim of the course is to provide the necessary skills and knowledge for BFI staff to implement the PTW system for high-risk activities within the BFI compound.
The implementation of the PTW System represents an initiative by the RBAirF in ensuring the efficiency and safety of its personnel and assets in the workplace.
KURSUS PERMIT-TO-WORK (PTW) BAGI TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Rabu, 7 Mac 2018 – Lapan orang anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) termasuk 2 orang Pegawai telah menghadiri kursus Permit-to-Work (PTW) selama 3 hari yang dikendalikan oleh Syarikat Megamas Trg Co Sdn Bhd bertempat di kawasan Bulk Fuel Installation (BFI), Pangkalan TUDB.
Sistem PTW merupakan satu sistem rasmi bagi mengawal dan memantau aktiviti kerja yang berisiko tinggi dari segi Kesihatan dan Keselamatan. Sistem PTW juga boleh diperluaskan ke sistem kerja yang selamat terutama sekali di dalam aktiviti pemeliharaan.
Bagi TUDB, tujuan kursus tersebut adalah untuk menyediakan anggota BFI dengan kemahiran dan pengetahuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem PTW bagi aktiviti berisiko tinggi di dalam kawasan BFI.
Pelaksanaan Sistem PTW merupakan inisiatif TUDB di dalam memastikan kecekapan dan keselamatan anggota dan aset di tempat kerja.
