RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 09 February 2018 – 16 personnel consisting of 14 airmen from 236 Sqn, 1 personnel from 31 Sqn Parachute Airborne Tactical Delivery Unit (PATDU) and 1 Chief Sergeant from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have successfully completed their Multirope Abseil and Jungle Line Resupply, Packing and Rigging Course 2018. The certificate presentation ceremony was held at Lecture Room 31 Sqn PATDU, No. 3 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lt Col (U) Abdul Rahman bin Hj Durahman, Commander Operations Group RBAirF who presented the course certificates. Also in attendance were Indonesian Defence Attache,Colonel (CZI) Widiyanto, RBAirF officers and personnel from 31 Sqn PATDU, No.3 Wing.
The two weeks course encompassed the operational safety procedures in conducting a multirope abseil and jungle resupply system as well as the packing and rigging system procedures.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of the certificates by the Guest of Honour and concluded with a thanksgiving prayer.

PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Jumaat, 09 Februari 2018 – Seramai 16 anggota terdiri daripada 14 anggota 236 Skn, seorang anggota dari 31 Skn, Unit Payung Terjun Pembekal Udara Taktikal (UTPUT) dan seorang Ketua Sarjan dari Tentera Nasional Indonesia (TNI) telah berjaya menamatkan kursus Multirope Abseil and Jungle Line Resupply, Packing and Rigging 2018.
Majlis Penyampaian Sijil dilaksanakan di Bilik Kuliah 31 Skn UPTPUT, No. 3 Wing, Kumpulan Gerakan, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB). Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat adalah Lt Kol (U) Abdul Rahman bin Hj Durahman, Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan TUDB yang kemudiannya menyampaikan sijil kursus.
Turut hadir adalah Atase Pertahanan Republik Indonesia, Kolonel (CZI) Widiyanto serta pegawai-pegawai TUDB dan anggota–anggota 31 Skn UPTPUT, No.3 Wing.
Kursus dua minggu tersebut merangkumi prosedur keselamatan operasi dalam melaksanakan Abseiling dan sistem Jungle Resupply dan juga kaedah packing and rigging system.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil oleh Tetamu Kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat.
