Manila, Tuesday 02 May 2017– Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah made his introductory visit to the Philippine Air Force (PAF) on 02 May 2017.Upon his arrival to PAF headquarters, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base; Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar inspected the Guard of honour by airmen of PAF Airforce before being honored with the wreath laying ceremony at the Monument of the fallen airmen.
Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force proceeded with a courtesy call to the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, Lt General Edgar R. Fallorina before receiving a briefing on the organization and structure of PAF.
Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force was presented with the Honorary Philippine Air Force (PAF) Gold Wings, presented by the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force himself.
As part of his programme Commander of the Royal Brunei air force also witnessed a capability demonstration by 505th Search and Rescue Group (SRG) before viewing the static Display of the unit itself.
LAWATAN PENGENALAN PEMERINTAH TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI KE TENTERA UDARA REPUBLIK FILIPINA
Manila, Selasa 02 Mei 2017 – Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, Brigadier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah telah membuat lawatan pengenalan ke Tentera Udara Republik Filipina pada 02 Mei 2017.
Semasa ketibaan Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei ke Markas Tentera Udara Republik Filipina, Markas Tentera Udara Colonel Jesus Villamor, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar memeriksa Kawalan Kehormatan daripada anggota Tentera Udara Filipina sebelum diberi penghormatan dengan upacara Wreath Laying Ceremony di Monument of the fallen airmen.
Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei seterusnya membuat Kunjungan Hormat kepada Commanding General Tentera Udara Republik Filipina, Leftenan Jeneral Edgar R. Fallorina sebelum menerima taklimat organisasi dan struktur Tentera Udara Republik Filipina.
Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei telah dianugerahkan dengan Honorary Philippine Air Force (PAF) Gold Wings yang disempurnakan oleh Commanding General Tentera Udara Republik Filipina.
Sebagai sebahagian daripada program, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei juga menyaksikan demonstrasi keupayaan dan pameran statik 505th Search and Rescue Group (SRG).
