RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 23 August 2017 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) have conducted its Study Week and the Promotion Examination (Phase II) for the RBAirF Officers ranked Lieutenant (Lt) and Captain (Cpt) from 24 Jul 2017 to 23 August 2017.
A total of 19 officers consisting of 12 Lieutenants and 7 Captains from various vocations of the RBAirF; Pilot, Logistics, Engineers and Supervisors, Staff Officers, and AirDefence Officers underwent the Study Week and at the end of the study week took the Promotion Examination.
The Study Week and the Promotion Examination is divided into 2 modules; namely Module 1 – Principles of Air Power (for Lt) and Air Campaign Essay and Presentation (for Cpt); and Module 2 – Air Operational Estimate and Operational Orders.
The Study Week aims to prepare the RBAirF officers for their Promotion examination in their respective vocations and the promotion examination assesses the officer’s potential for their next higher post.
MINGGU BELAJAR DAN PEPERIKSAAN KENAIKAN PANGKAT (PROMEX) FASA KEDUA PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI TUDB 2017
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Rabu, 23 Ogos 2017 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengendalikan Minggu Belajar dan Peperiksaan kenaikan pangkat fasa kedua bagi Pegawai-Pegawai TUDB berpangkat Leftenan (Lt) dan Kapten (Kpt) bermula 24 Jul 2017 hingga 23 Ogos 2017.
Seramai 19 pegawai yang terdiri daripada 12 pegawai berpangkat Leftenan dan 7 pegawai berpangkat Kapten dari berbagai kerjaya iaitu Juruterbang, Logistik, Kejuruteraan dan Bekal, Pegawai Staf, dan Pertahanan Udara telah mengikuti minggu belajar dan mengambil peperiksaan kenaikan pangkat tersebut.
Minggu Belajar dan Peperiksaan kenaikan pangkat terbahagi kepada 2 modul; iaitu Modul 1 - Principles of Air Power (bagi yang berpangkat Lt) dan Air Campaign Essay and Presentation (bagi yang berpangkat Kpt); dan Modul 2 - Air Operational Estimate and Operational Orders.
Minggu Belajar bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan pegawai-pegawai TUDB untuk mengambil Peperiksaan Kenaikan Pangkat dalam bidang masing-masing. Peperiksaan Kenaikan Pangkat menilai potensi pegawai-pegawai TUDB dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggungjawab yang lebih tinggi.
