HQ, RIMBA AIR BASE, Tue, Jun 16, 2015 – Royal Brunei Air Force today held its Distribution Ceremony of the “Kurma Kurnia Peribadi” His Majesty Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 1436H/2015M.The ceremony took place at the Alap-Alap, RBAirF HQ. Present as the guest of honor was Yang Mulia Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Wardi bin Haji Abdul Latip, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and continued with the distribution of the “Kurma Kurnia Peribadi” His Majesty Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The dates were presented by the Commander of RBAirF to Commander Operation Group, Acting Commander Support Group, CO Training and Chief of Staff as representatives from respective sub-unit.
This year, approximately 5,500 small boxes of ‘Safawi’ dates were distributed to all Muslims of RBAirF for the upcoming holy month of Ramadhan.
