ACEH, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Thursday, 28 Mei 2018 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) is currently in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Republic of Indonesia from 26 to 29 May 2019. He was there to represent the Royal Brunei Armed Forces to distribute donations to the orphans and the community in the province in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan 1440H.
The donations included ‘Safawi’ dates and Al-Quran ‘Mushaf Al-Watsiqa Billah’ which were personally donated by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, as well as funds raised by the Ministry of Defence and RBAF personnel.
This is a regular activity that the Royal Brunei Armed Forces undertake, the visit to Aceh last year was conducted by the Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
PEMERINTAH TUDB MENGADAKAN LAWATAN KE NANGROE ACEH DARUSSALAM, REPUBLIK INDONESIA
ACEH, REPUBLIK INDONESIA, Khamis, 28 Mei 2019 – Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan lawatan ke Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Republik Indonesia bermula pada 26 hingga 29 Mei 2019 untuk pembahagian bantuan derma kepada anak-anak yatim dan penduduk Aceh sempena Bulan Ramadhan tahun 1440H.
Bantuan derma termasuk Kurnia Peribadi Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam berupa Kurma ‘Safawi’ dan Al-Quran ‘Mushaf Al-Watsiqa Billah’ dan juga sumbangan derma daripada warga anggota Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
Lawatan ini merupakan aktiviti rutin yang dikendalikan oleh Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, dimana pada tahun lalu lawatan telah dibuat oleh Pemerintah ABDB.
