Rimba Air Base, Monday, 28 December 2020– The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held TUDB Prihatin – Back to School Event for three consecutive days from 28 December 2020 to 30 December 2020 at the Sports Complex, Rimba Air Force Base.
The event started with the donations presentation to the RBAirF orphans, presented by the spouse of the Commander of RBAirF, Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim. Also present at the event was the Commander of RBAirF, the Board of Executives and their spouses. The donations were contributed by the RBAirF, Takmir Surau RBAirF, KOWIRA and AMJ Catering.
This event is based on the concept of ‘Back to School’, which aims to prepare children for the upcoming new school term and to strengthen the family ties within the RBAirF community. The celebration was organized as part of a recreation between family members of the RBAirF which includes uniformed personnel, RBAirF’s civil servant, TEMD and the RBAirF BAKTI Association which had contributed to the growth and achievement of RBAirF throughout the year.
The three days event hosted a variety of activities such as lucky draw, horse riding, archery, paddle boating, nerf shooting, bike riding and other activities suited for all ages. Vendors such as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Casbah London Kebab and Mister Softy had also been invited to participate to enliven the atmosphere. Personnel were also given the opportunity to participate as vendors. This event hopes to reinforce family values within the RBAirF community.
The event was conducted for three days with 350 capacity per day following the guideline from Ministry of Health in regard to measures for social distancing amidst the outbreak of COVID-19. Body temperature check and BruHealth Scanning with QR Code was also in practice during the event.
TUDB MENUTUP TIRAI TAHUN 2020 DENGAN ACARA TUDB PRIHATIN – BACK TO SCHOOL
Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba, Isnin, 28 Disember 2020 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Acara TUDB Prihatin – Back to School selama tiga hari bermula dari 28 Disember 2020 sehingga 30 Disember 2020 yang bertempat di Kompleks Sukan, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba.
Acara dimulakan dengan penyampaian derma kepada Anak-anak Yatim TUDB yang diserahkkan oleh Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim, Isteri kepada Pemerintah TUDB. Turut hadir bagi acara tersebut ialah Pemerintah TUDB dan Badan Eksekutif bersama isteri. Derma tersebut adalah merupakan sumbangan daripada TUDB, Takmir Surau TUDB, KOWIRA dan juga Katering AMJ.
Konsep bagi acara ini ialah Kembali Ke Sekolah, yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan anak-anak bagi penggal persekolahan baru serta mengeratkan hubungan silaturrahim antara warga TUDB. Acara ini diadakan sebagai riadah antara ahli keluarga TUDB, kakitangan awam TUDB, TEMD dan juga Persatuan BAKTI TUDB yang telah menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan dan pencapaian TUDB sepanjang tahun ini.
Berbagai aktiviti diadakan sepanjang acara seperti cabutan Bertuah, menunggang kuda, memanah, berperahu, arena menembak Nerf, menunggang basikal dan aktiviti-aktiviti lain yang sesuai bagi semua peringkat umur. Vendor seperti The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Casbah London Kebab dan juga Mister Softy turut dijemput bagi memeriahkan acara tersebut. Anggota turut diberi kesempatan untuk menyertai menjadi vendor di sepanjang acara tersebut. Acara ini diharapkan dapat mengukuhkan nilai kekeluargaan dalam komuniti TUDB.
Acara ini diadakan selama tiga hari dengan kapasiti sebanyak 350 orang sehari untuk mengikuti garispandu Kementerian Kesihatan bagi langkah-langkah penjarakkan sosial semasa penularan wabak COVID-19. Selain itu, pemeriksaan suhu badan dan penggunaan aplikasi BruHealth serta pengimbasan kod QR turut dipraktikkan semasa acara tersebut.
