RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, 16 August 2017 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received an Executive Working Visit from Acting Director DFA, Madam Poh Kui Choon and Director CSTRAD, Pg Dr Haji Mohd Esa Al-Islam bin Pg Haji Yunus.
The Executive Working Visit commenced with the recitation of Surah Al Fatihah headed by Staff Officer Grade 2 Capability Development Cell, Major (U) Hasnul Alwe bin Haji Matassan followed by welcoming remarks from Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwarbin Haji Ma’awiah, Commander RBAirF,who emphasized on the common understanding required to support the current and future capability of the RBAirF.
This was followed by an executive presentation introducing RBAirF’s brief history, background, current capabilities, sustainability and its planned development by the Deputy Commander RBAirF, Colonel (U) Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim at Bubut Conference Room, RBAirF Headquarters.
Acting Director DFA and Director CSTARD were also taken on a tour of the RBAirF support capabilities which included the Aircraft Maintenance Facilities and Survival Equipment Section and its operational assets such as the Blackhawk S70i, Bolkow BO105, Mistral Air Defence System and the Parachute Airborne Tactical Delivery Unit and Jungle Rescue Team. The executive guests were also given a demonstration of the scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance processes.
The visit ended with an interactive question and answer session over lunch hosted by the Commander RBAirF.
LAWATAN KERJA EKSEKUTIF DARI PEMANGKU PENGARAH JABATANARAH KEWANGAN DAN PEROLEHAN (JKP) DAN PENGARAH PUSAT PENYELIDIKAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI (P3ST)
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, 16 Ogos 2017 - Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) menerima Lawatan Kerja Eksekutif dari Pemangku Pengarah JKP, Poh Kui Choon dan Pengarah P3ST, Pg Dr Haji Mohd Esa Al-Islam bin Pg Haji Yunus.
Lawatan dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Timbalan Pengawai Staf Sel Perkembangan Keupayaan Tentera, Mejar (U) Hasnul Alwe bin Haji Matassan dan seterusnya dirasmikan oleh Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwarbin Haji Ma’awiah, Pemerintah TUDB dengan kata alu-aluan yang menekankan aspek kesefahaman dalam membantu keupayaan TUDB masakini dan akan datang.
Aturcara lawatan diteruskan dengan taklimat eksekutif memperkenalkan sejarah ringkas, latar belakang, keupayaan masakini, kemampanan dan perancangan perkembangan TUDB yang disampaikan oleh Kolonel (U) Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Ibrahim, Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB di Bilik Mesyuarat Bubut, Markas TUDB.
Pemangku Pengarah JKP dan Pengarah P3ST seterusnya berpeluang untuk membuat lawatan ke beberapa fasiliti keupayaan bantuan TUDB seperti fasiliti-fasiliti baik pulih pesawat dan Seksyen Alat Keselamatan dan juga aset-aset operasi seperti Pesawat Blackhawk S70i, Pesawat Bolkow BO105, Sistem Pertahanan Udara Mistral, Unit Payung Terjun Pembekal Taktikal Udara dan Pasukan Penyelamat Hutan. Pemangku Pengarah JKP dan Pengarah P3ST juga menyaksikan demonstrasi proses-proses baik pulih pesawat yang berjadual dan tidak berjadual.
Lawatan eksekutif berkahir dengan sesi soal jawab yang interaktif sambil menikmati jamuan tengah hari yang dihoskan oleh Pemerintah TUDB.
