INITIAL PLANNING CONFERENCE SAREX MALBRU
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 22 August 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted the Initial Planning Conference Search and Rescue Exercise Malaysia Brunei (SAREX MALBRU) 2023 via video tele-conference (VTC) Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Walee bin Haji Roslie, Commanding Officer No. 1 Wing, Operation Group, RBAirF was the Co-Chairman for this exercise. Also in attendance were Major (U) Azhar @ Reamy bin Haji Jumat, Major (U) Emad Hamdi bin Haji Sawal and Captain (U) Mohd Aliff bin Haji Zulkifli.
RBAirF OFFICERS GRADUATE AT 35th UBD CONVOCATION
Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Monday, 21 August 2023 – His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al- Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) consented to grace the afternoon session of the 35th Convocation Ceremony of UBD and presented the certificates to the graduates today at the Chancellor Hall, UBD.
COMPLETION OF HELICOPTER FLIGHT TRAINING COURSE
AUSTRALIA, Saturday, 19 August 2023 - A significant milestone was reached as two Student Pilots from 73 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Dzufadhli bin Bahrin and Lieutenant (U) Siti Nor Aqilah binti Haji Mohammad Safri successfully completed their Basic and Advanced Rotary Wing Pilot Training (B’ARWPT) program at Air Combat Australia (ACA), Camden located in Sydney, Australia.
TWO OFFICERS COMPLETED AIR WARFARE OFFICER (AWO) PRECISION APPROACH RADAR (PAR)/AERODROME COURSE IN THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Sunday, 20 August 2023 – Two Air Traffic Control Officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) have completed the 20th Air Warfare Officer (AWO) PAR/Aerodrome Course in the Republic of Singapore since 20 February 2023. Attended the course was Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Afiq bin Haji Abdul Rahman and Lieutenant (U) Siti Kamaliah binti Haji Awang Damit from the 37 Squadron (Airspace Control/Early Warning Squadron), No. 3 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF.
RBAirF OFFICERS PARTICIPATES FOR THE PACIFIC AIRLIFT RALLY 2023 TABLETOP EXERCISE
CLARK AIR BASE, Friday, 18 August 2023 - The Royal Brunei Air Forces (RBAirF) participated in the Pacific Air Force (PACAF) Pacific Airlift Rally 23 (PAR 23) Tabletop Exercise (TTX) from 14 August until 18 August 2023 held in Clark Air Base, Philippines. Representing the RBAirF was Major (U) Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Afflon, Assistant Chief of Staff Operation and Planning, RBAirF Headquarters and Captain (U) Ak Nizamuddin bin Pg Haji Malik Sharun, Squadron Commander Domestic Supply Squadron, No. 4 Wing, Support Group, RBAirF.
PASSING OUT PARADE CEREMONY FOR ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES MALE RECRUITS OF THE 171ST INTAKE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 18 August 2023 – A total of 203 male recruits of the 171st intake have concluded their three (03) months of basic military training with a Passing Out Parade Ceremony held at the parade square of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) at Penanjong Garrison.
