RBAirF Officer Attended The 5th Professional Airmanship Program in Tokyo, Japan
JAPAN,Saturday, 9 August 2025 – Captain (U) Muhammad Radzi bin Haji Amin of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) participated in the 5th Professional Airmanship Program (PAP) in Tokyo from 6 to 8 August 2025. The programme was hosted by the Japan Ministry of Defence (JMOD) and attended by representatives from ASEAN countries. The 5th PAP falls under the Vientiane Vision 2.0, the guiding principle for Japan’s defense cooperation with ASEAN. The objective of the program is to contribute to regional stability by promoting mutual confidence and building professional networks through the recognition of international law and seminars on outer-space security, including Space Domain Awareness, going beyond Air Domain Awareness.

RBAirF OFFICERS PROMOTION CEREMONY
BERAKAS GARISSON, Friday, 08 August 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 108 officers of Royal Armed Forces Brunei (RBAF) have been promoted today in a promotion ceremony that took place at Berakas Garrison Officers Mess.
RBAirF & RTAF BLACKHAWK S-70i MAINTENANCE SMEE PROGRAMME 2025
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 08 August 2025 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) successfully concluded the Black Hawk S-70i Maintenance Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) Programme 2025, which was held from 4 to 8 August 2025 in Negara Brunei Darussalam. The programme served as a strategic platform for enhancing bilateral cooperation, strengthening technical knowledge and promoting the exchange of best practices in aircraft maintenance, particularly on the Black Hawk S-70i platform.
COMMANDER ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE PROMOTED TO BRIDGADIER GENERAL
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 08 August 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, effective today. Also promoted to the same rank were Colonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
COMMANDER RBAirF HOLDS MUZAKARAH SESSION WITH RBAirF OFFICERS AND RBAirF SENIOR NON-COMMISIONED OFFICERS
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 07 August 2025 – Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Colonel (Udara) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, held a productive dialogue session (Muzakarah) today with all RBAirF officers and senior non-commissioned officers. The session, themed “Memperkukuhkan Disiplin dan Integriti dalam Menangani Isu Sosial dalam TUDB” focused on reinforcing the core values of the RBAirF which are “Service Above Self, Teamwork, and Excellence”, strengthening unity and maintaining discipline among its personnel.
