PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT GROUPS PERSONNEL
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 25 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held two promotion ceremonies at Rimba Air Force Base, celebrating the achievements and dedication of personnel from both the Operations and Support Groups.
RBAirF SUPPORTS PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE (PAF) RECURRENCY TRAINING
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 25 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) recently supported simulator training for 14 Philippine Air Force (PAF) Blackhawk S70i pilots at CAE Brunei MPTC, Tungku. Led by Qualified Helicopter Instructor (QHI) Major (U) Muhammad Adib bin Haji Hashim from RBAirF’s 11 Squadron, this training initiative emerged from the Air Working Group discussions between the two air forces, emphasizing a shared commitment to strengthening defence cooperation.
MAJOR GENERAL KELVIN FAN HONOURED WITH RBAirF HONORARY PILOT WING DURING INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO BRUNEI
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 23 October 2024 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Major General Kelvin Fan Sui Siong, Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), was presented with the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Honorary Pilot Wing. This recognition was in appreciation of his significant contributions in enhancing defence cooperation between the RBAirF and RSAF.
RBAirF HOSTS WELCOMING DINNER FOR CHIEF OF AIR FORCE, RSAF INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
Bandar Seri Begawan, 23 October 2024 - As part of the Introductory Visit of Major General Kelvin Fan Sui Siong, Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), to Brunei Darussalam, a Welcoming Dinner was graciously hosted by Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim, spouse of Commander RBAirF.
RBAirF HOSTS EDUCATIONAL VISIT FOR FASTRACKIDS INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY STUDENTS
Rimba, Wednesday, 23 October 2024 - The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) recently welcomed 60 visitors from FASTRACKIDS (B) International Academy, Telanai to Rimba Air Force Base. The group, consisting of students, parents, and teachers, were given an immersive experience designed to foster greater understanding of the RBAirF’s operations and capabilities.
JUNJONGAN PRIMARY SCHOOL, CLUSTER 1 VISIT TO RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 22 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) welcomed students from Junjongan Primary School, Cluster 1, as part of an organised school tour, which was arranged as a post-examination activity. A total of 31 visitors made up of students and teachers visited Rimba Air Force Base.
