RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday 12 December 2024
– The Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, received a courtesy call from Colonel Zachary Augustine, Head of Delegation of the Air Domain Awareness (ADA) Mobile Training Team (MTT), United States Pacific Air Forces (US PACAF) today at the RBAirF Headquarters.
The ADA MTT, US PACAF is in the country for the Theatre Operationally Resilient Command and Control (TORCC) Programme from 09 December until 12 December 2024. Also present during the call was Commander Bert Bratton, The United States Defence Attache and Chief, Office of Defence Cooperation in Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, the RBAirF Commander welcomed the ADA MTT, US PACAF delegates to Rimba Air Force Base where he acknowledged the strong bilateral defence relations between the two sides, particularly the RBAirF and the US PACAF. Both parties expressed mutual appreciation for the shared interest in exploring potential areas of cooperation for the future.
The courtesy call between the Commander and the Head of Delegation further strengthens both countries diplomatic ties and the Commander hopes this exchange could benefit and further enhance the understanding of Air Domain Awareness for RBAirF personnel within the region as well as throughout South-East Asia.

United States Pacific Air Forces (US PACAF) bertempat di Markas TUDB.
Delegasi tersebut berada di negara ini untuk mengendalikan program
Theatre Operationally Resilient Command and Control (TORCC) yang bermula dari 09 Disember 2024 hingga 12 Disember 2024. Turut hadir semasa kunjungan hormat adalah Kommander Bert Bratton, Atase Pertahanan Amerika Syarikat dan Ketua Pejabat Kerjasama Pertahanan di Brunei Darussalam.
Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Pemerintah TUDB menekankan kepentingan kerjasama yang berterusan dan kerjasama dua-hala yang kukuh diantara kedua Tentera Udara, khususnya antara TUDB dan US PACAF. Kedua-dua pihak juga menyuarakan hasrat untuk meneroka bidang kerjasama yang berpotensi.
Kunjungan hormat antara Pemerintah TUDB dan delegasi ini mengukuhkan lagi hubungan diplomatik kedua-dua negara, dan Pemerintah TUDB berharap pertukaran pengalaman ini dapat memberikan manfaat serta meningkatkan pemahaman anggota-anggota TUDB mengenai
Air Domain Awareness bukan sahaja di Brunei, bahkan di Asia Tenggara.
