EMPIRE HOTEL & COUNTRY CLUB, Wednesday 5 September 2018 –The 1st Regional Aviation Maintenance Symposium (RAMS) between the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade (25th CAB) was held at the Empire Hotel & Country Club from 03 – 05 September 2018. The symposium was organized by the 25th CAB of the US Army, based in Hawaii.
The aim of the symposium includes the exchange of ideas and best practices related to aviation maintenance and supply chain organization with particular emphasis on corrosion issues and prevention experienced by the two services.
The 1st symposium programme includes briefings on Quality Control Corrosion Prevention Program, Supply Chain Management, Quality Control Practices, Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART), Airspace Management and Aviation Maintenance Safety, followed with a site visit to No. 4 Wing and No. 5 Wing, Rimba Air Force Base respectively.
The symposium is scheduled to be held annually, and hosted alternately between RBAirF and 25th CAB.
REGIONAL AVIATION MAINTENANCE SYMPOSIUM (RAMS)
EMPIRE HOTEL & COUNTRY CLUB, Rabu 5 September 2018 – Simposium Regional Aviation Maintenance Symposium (RAMS) pertama di antara Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) dan 25th Combat Aviation Brigade (25th CAB) telah selesai dilaksanakan di Empire Hotel & Country Club pada 03 – 05 September 2018. Simposium tersebut telah dikendalikan oleh 25th CAB, sebuah unit di bawah US Army yang beribu pejabat di Hawaii, Amerika Syarikat.
Tujuan Simposium diadakan bagi membincangkan pertukaran maklumat dan best practices yang berkaitan dengan pemeliharaan pesawat udara serta supply chain organization, khususnya berkenaan dengan isu-isu kesan hakisan (corrosion) serta pencegahannya yang dihadapi oleh kedua-dua pihak.
Antara Program Simposium RAMS pertama ini adalah taklimat Quality Control Corrosion Prevention Program, Supply Chain Management, Quality Control Practices, Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART), Airspace Management dan Aviation Maintenance Safety, diikuti dengan lawatan ke No. 4 Wing and No. 5 Wing, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba.
Simposium RAMS ini dirancang untuk diadakan setiap tahun dan dianjurkan selang seli di antara TUDB dan 25th CAB.
