Pangkalan Tentera Udara, Rimba , Isnin 26 Jun 2017 – Umat Islam di Negara Brunei Darussalam pada hari ini telah menyambut kedatangan Hari Raya Aidil Fitri dengan sembahyang sunat di kesemua masjid dan surau di seluruh negara termasuk surau-surau di Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB).Bagi Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, Sembahyang Sunat Aidil Fitri telah diadakan di Surau Al-Barakah, Pangkalan Tentera Udara, Rimba. Pada majlis tersebut, laungan Takbir Hari Raya kedengaran berkumandang diikuti dengan Sembahyang Sunat Aidil Fitri and khutbah yang disampaikan oleh 11307 PW2 Shaipin bin Hj Abu Bakar, Imam Surau Al-Barakah. Mereka yang hadir seterusnya beramah mesra dan mengucapkan ‘Selamat Hari Raya’ kepada rakan-rakan sejawat mereka.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Yang Mulia Brigadier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Hj Ma’awiah, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-Pegawai dan anggota di Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba dan penduduk yang tinggal di kawasan berdekatan.
RBAirF HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI PRAYERS
Rimba Air Base, Monday 26 June 2017 – Muslims throughout the country today ushered in Hari Raya Aidil Fitri with mass prayers held at mosques and suraus nationwide including suraus at the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
For the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel, the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Prayers was held at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Base. The ceremony began with the Hari Raya Takbir followed by the Aidil Fitri Prayers and sermon delivered by 11307 PW2 Shaipin bin Hj Abu Bakar, the Imam of Surau Al-Barakah. The congregants then proceeded to meet-and-greet their colleagues and wish them ‘Selamat Hari Raya’.
Present as guest of honour was the Commander of RBAirF, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and Personnel of the RBAirF. The morning prayers was held to mark the month of Syawal – a festive occasion celebrated by Muslims in prayers, gatherings and feasts. It is also a time to seek forgiveness from families and friends.
