RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 30 May 2022 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Thanksgiving ceremony in conjunction with the 61st Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base.
Present at the ceremony was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, the Commander of the Operations Group of RBAirF. Also present were the Senior Officers, Officers and the RBAirF personnel.
The event began with the recital of Surah Al-Anfal verses 60 to 63 by Private (U) Mohd Iqbal Hibatullah @ Hilal bin Mohd Rushidi, from 238 Squadron, No. 2 Wing. The event continued by Fardhu Maghrib prayers, Sunat Hajat prayers and the recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil. Subsequently, it was then followed with a special recitation of Doa Kesyukuran for the 61st Annivesrary of the RBAF. The event then concluded with Fardhu Isya’ prayers.
Similiar ceremonies were also held at all RBAF garrisons and Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru.

MENGADAKAN MAJLIS DOA
KESYUKURAN SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI (ABDB) KE-61 TAHUN.
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Isnin, 30 Mei 2022 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Doa Kesyukuran sempena Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) yang Ke-61 di Surau Al-Barakah, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba.
Hadir bagi majlis tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan TUDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TUDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Anfal ayat 60 hingga 63 oleh Soldadu (U) Mohd Iqbal Hibatullah @ Hilal bin Mohd Rushidi, dari Skuadron 238, Cawangan No. 2 dan diikuti dengan Solat Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, Solat Sunat Hajat dan bacaan Surah Yassin dan Tahlil. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan Doa Kesyukuran sempena Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun ABDB dan diakhiri dengan Solat Fardhu Isya’ berjemaah.
Majlis yang sama juga diadakan di semua garison ABDB dan Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru.
