RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE (RIMBA AFB),
Wednesday, 01 June 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received an Introductory Call from Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M), the Defence Advisor The Islamic Republic of Pakistan at the RBAirF Headquarters, Rimba AFB today.
During the call, Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M) conveyed his gratitude for the invitation to the recent RBAF’s 61st Anniversary and for welcoming the Defense Advisor to the RBAirF Headquarters. It is with hope that with this interaction and the uplift of restrictions due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it will allow for the growth of engagements between both countries, especially in the aspect of leadership and military.
Both also discussed on the possibilities of bilateral trainings and exercises, where both the RBAirF and the Pakistan Air Force are able to exchange knowledge in different aspects of subject matter expertise.
Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M) is appointed as the Defense Advisor to Negara Brunei Darussalam with effect from April 2021 and resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
PEMERINTAH TUDB MENERIMA KUNJUNGAN HORMAT DARI PENASIHAT PERTAHAN REPUBLIK ISLAM PAKISTAN KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA (PTU RIMBA), Rabu, 01 Jun 2022 – Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) menerima Kunjungan Hormat dari Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M), Penasihat Pertahanan Republik Islam Pakistan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam di Markas TUDB, PTU Rimba pada hari ini.
Semasa sesi tersebut, Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M) menyapaikan ucapan terima kasih atas jemputan ke sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei ke 61 dan atas jemputan alu-aluan beliau ke Markas TUDB. Dengan adanya interaksi ini dan pembubaran sekatan akibat Pandemik COVID-19, ia memberikan harapan untuk memperbolehkan meningkatnya penglibatan diantara kedua-dua negara, terutamanya dari aspek kepimpinan dan bidang ketenteraan.
Kedua belah pihak juga membincangkan penerokaan peluang latihan dua hala, yang mana TUDB dan Tentera Udara Pakistan akan dapat menimba pengetahuan dalam pelbagai aspek kepakaran subjek masing-masing.
Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M) ialah Penasihat Pertahanan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam yang telah berkuat kuasa pada April 2021 dan menetap di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
