RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 17 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim received a Farewell Call from the outgoing United Kingdom Defence Advisor (DA) to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Group Captain Graeme Davis.
During the session, the outgoing DA expressed his gratitude to the RBAirF Commander for all the support and assistance that was provided during his tenure in the country. He also conveyed the importance of developing the interaction between the RBAirF and the Royal Air Force, United Kingdom. The RBAirF Commander expressed appreciation to the outgoing DA for his contributions that has helped to further strengthen the relationship between the RBAirF and RAF. Also present during the call was the incoming United Kingdom DA, Captain Jonathan Caple of the Royal Navy, United Kingdom.
Group Captain Graeme Davis has served in Brunei Darussalam as the Defence Advisor in Brunei Darussalam for 4 years, starting his tenure in May 2019.
PEMERINTAH TUDB TERIMA KUNJUNGAN PERPISAHAN DARI PENASIHAT PERTAHANAN UNITED KINGDOM
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Rabu, 17 Mei 2022 – Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Yang Mulia Brigadier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim menerima Kunjungan Perpisahan dari Penasihat Pertahanan United Kingdom ke Negara Brunei Darussalam, Group Captain Graeme Davis.
Semasa sesi tersebut, Penasihat Pertahanan United Kingdom telah menyatakan penghargaan beliau kepada Pemerintah TUDB di atas sokongan dan bantuan yang telah diberikan kepada beliau sepanjang perkhidmatan beliau di negara ini. Beliau juga menyatakan kepentingan mengembangkan hubungan dan interaksi di antara kedua Tentera Udara. Pemerintah TUDB kemudian mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Group Captain Graeme Davis di atas sumbangan beliau yang telah membantu menguatkan hubungan di antara TUDB dan Royal Air Force, United Kingdom. Turut hadir bersama ialah Penasihat Penasihat Pertahanan United Kingdom yang baharu, Captain Jonathan Caple, Royal Navy, United Kindgom.
Group Captain Graeme Davis telah berkhidmat di Negara Brunei Darussalam sebagai Penasihat Pertahanan selama 4 tahun, dimana beliau mula bertugas pada bulan Mei 2019.
