REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Sunday, 20 August 2023 – Two Air Traffic Control Officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) have completed the 20th Air Warfare Officer (AWO) PAR/Aerodrome Course in the Republic of Singapore since 20
February 2023. Attended the course was Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Afiq bin Haji Abdul Rahman and Lieutenant (U) Siti Kamaliah binti Haji Awang Damit from the 37 Squadron (Airspace Control/Early Warning Squadron), No. 3 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF.
The six-month training was held at the Air Force Training Command (AFTC), Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) from 20 February to 20 August 2023. This course is mandatory for officers who plan to become air traffic controllers in No. 3 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF. The RSAF Combined Graduation Ceremony (RCGC) closing ceremony was held on 16 August 2023 at AFTC. The closing ceremony proceeded with the certificate presentation to the course participants and concluded the badge presentation according to their vocations.
The course consists of theory and practical lessons on both precision approach and aerodrome, which aims to provide course participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to become competent air traffic controllers in providing a safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic.

PAR/Aerodrome di Republik Singapura sejak 20 Februari 2023. Antara yang menghadiri kursus tersebut ialah Leftenan (U) Muhammad Afiq bin Haji Abdul Rahman dan Leftenan (U) Siti Kamaliah binti Haji Awang Damit dari Skuadron 37 (Skuadron Kawalan Ruang Udara/Amaran Awal), Cawangan No. 3, Kumpulan Gerakan, TUDB.
Latihan selama enam bulan ini diadakan di

Kursus ini terdiri daripada pembelajaran teori dan praktikal bagi pelajaran precision approach dan aerodrome, yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan peserta kursus dengan pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang diperlukan untuk menjadi Pegawai Kawalan Trafik Udara dalam menyediakan aliran lalulintas yang selamat, teratur dan pantas.
