BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 24 February 2024 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to join the citizens and residents of this country in celebrating the 40th National Day with other members of the Royal Family at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
A total of 140 personnel of The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) participated in the march past which was led by Major (U) Muhammad Izdihar bin Hj Imran. RBAirF also added to the liveliness of the event by showcasing an aerial performance of parachuting and abseiling from the light towers. The celebration was concluded by the newly commissioned aircraft of the RBAirF, the C295MW along side the Blackhawk S70is in a fly-past led by Major (U) Adieb bin Abdul Rahman and Captain (U) Mohammad Azhar bin Haji Mohd Mahatir respectively.
With the theme ‘Bersatu Mencapai Cita Negara’, the country celebrated this year’s celebration on a larger scale than previous year.
TUDB SERTAI SAMBUTAN ULANG TAHUN HARI KEBANGSAAN NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM KE-40
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sabtu, 24 Februari 2024 – Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di- Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam telah berkenan berangkat menyertai rakyat dan penduduk di negara ini dalam Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan ke-40 tahun bersama ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja yang lain ke Stadium Negara Hassanal Bolkiah.
Seramai 140 anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) turut serta mengikuti perbarisan berjalan lalu yang diketuai oleh Mejar (U) Muhammad Izdihar bin Hj Imran. TUDB juga turut memeriahkan lagi acara dengan persembahan udara terjun payung dan
abseiling dari menara lampu. Acara diakhiri dengan pesawat yang terbaru ditauliahkan, Pesawat C295MW dengan Blackhawk S70i dalam terbang lalu yang diketuai oleh Mejar (U) Adieb bin Abdul Rahman dan Kapten (U) Mohammad Azhar bin Haji Mohd Mahathir.
Dengan tema ‘ Bersatu Mencapai Cita Negara,’, sambutan tahun ini dilaksanakan dalam skala yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan tahun yang lepas.
