PENANJONG, Wednesday, 06 March 2024 – The Badge Presentation Ceremony for the Basic Base Defence Serial 2 Session 2023/2024 Course was held on Wednesday, 06 March 2024 at the FIBUA Village, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 34 personnel from No. 2 Wing, Operations Group attended the course and received their Base Defence badges. Present at the event as the Guest of Honour and to present the badges was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, Commanding Officer of No. 2 Wing. Also present were Major (U) Mohammad Kaisan bin Haji Ludin, Commanding Officer of No. 7 Wing as well as other officers and invited guests.
The ceremony commenced with a briefing at the FIBUA Village. The exercise brief was presented by the Course Administrator. The event then proceeded with the witnessing of the final attack as the climax for the final exercise.
The next segment of the event was the presentation of badges. The segment began ith the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of badges to all the course participants. The ceremony ended with the recital of Closing Doa by the course representative.
The course was conducted over a period of 6 weeks and included various subjects such as weapons handling, first aid, Base Defence operations and others. This badge is a significant achievement for the course participants as it marks the starting point of their journey in the field of Base Defence.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN LENCANA KURSUS ASAS PERTAHANAN PANGKALAN SIRI 2 SESI 2023/2024
PENANJONG, Rabu, 06 Mac 2024 – Majlis Penyampaian Lencana bagi Kursus Asas Pertahanan Pangkalan Siri 2 Sesi 2023/2024 telah dikendalikan pada hari Rabu, 06 Mac 2024 bertempat di Perkampungan
FIBUA, Penanjong Garison. Seramai 34 anggota dari Cawangan No. 2, Kumpulan Gerakan telah menghadiri kursus tersebut dan menerima lencana Pertahanan Pangkalan. Hadir di majlis tersebut selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan menyampaikan lencana adalah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, Pegawai Pemerintah Cawangan No. 2. Turuh hadir ke majlis tersebut adalah Mejar (U) Mohammad Kaisan bin Haji Ludin, Pegawai Pemerintah Cawangan No. 7, pegawai-pegawai dan juga jemputan-jemputan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan penyampaian taklimat di Perkampungan
FIBUA. Taklimat mengenai pengendalian latihan akhir telah disampaikan oleh Pengendali Kursus tersebut. Acara diteruskan dengan menyaksikan serangan akhir sebagai kemuncak bagi eksesais tersebut.
Acara seterusnya merupakan segmen penyampaian lencana. Segmen dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian lencana kepada setiap peserta kursus. Acara diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup oleh wakil dari peserta kursus.
Kursus tersebut telah mengambil masa selama 6 minggu dan merangkumi pelbagai pelajaran termasuk tatacara pengendalian senjata-senajata, pertolongan cemas, pelbagai operasi Pertahanan Pangkalan dan lain-lain lagi. Lencana ini merupakan satu pencapaian signifikan kepada peserta-peserta kursus kerana ia melambangkan titik permulaan mereka sebagai seorang ahli Pertahanan Pangkalan.
