2023 – The Closing Ceremony for the Corporal Leadership Course Session 2023 was held today. The course was conducted by the Leadership Cell of No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) for three weeks. It was attended by a total of 46 course participants of which 44 personnel were from the RBAirF, 01 personnel from Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and 01 personnel from Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF).
Present as the Guest of Honor was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohammad Roslan, Commanding Officer, No. 7 Wing, RBAirF. Also in attendance were the Training and Planning Officer No. 7 Wing, Course Coordinator and Instructors. The ceremony began with a group photo session and followed by a speech from Corporal (U) Md Riwandi bin Awg Latip, the course representative. The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates and prize awards to course participants followed by a speech by the Guest of Honour, where he emphasized on the significance of cultivating leadership character and behavior, to be more competent in carrying out duties and responsibilities as well as being able to respond to challenges. The ceremony proceeded with a souvenir presentation to the Guest of Honour as a token of appreciation from the course participants. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the closing
Doa Selamat.
The Best Overall Student was awarded
to
Corporal (U) Steven Jhonthen bin Sunnie from No. 1 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF. The Best Academic was awarded to Corporal (U) Mohd Fauzi Ajizul bin Awg Johan from No. 6 Wing, Support Group, RBAirF and Best in Practical was awarded to Corporal Md Aliuddin bi Hj Basar from MINDEF.
The Corporal Leadership Course aims to provide RBAirF personnel with appropriate leadership skills, exposure towards their leadership roles in RBAirF and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) as a whole. The course also aims to sharpen the personnel’s potential as an effective leader to become more competent and confident to lead their subordinates as well as perform their duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

JERUDONG, Jumaat, 25 Ogos 2023 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Kepimpinan Koperal Sesi 2023 telah diadakan pada hari ini. Kursus ini dikendalikan oleh Sel Kepimpinan Cawangan No. 7, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) dan telah berjalan selama tiga minggu. Ianya dihadiri oleh seramai 46 orang peserta kursus. Yang mana 44 anggota dari TUDB, 01 anggota dari Kementerian Pertahanan (KEMENTAH) dan 01 anggota dari Akademi Pertahanan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (AP ABDB).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Pengiran Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohammad Roslan, Pegawai Pemerintah, Cawangan No. 7, TUDB. Turut hadir Pegawai Latihan dan Rancangan Cawangan No. 7, Penyelaras Kursus dan Tenaga Pengajar. Majlis dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar beramai dan diikuti dengan ucapan dari wakil penuntut, Koperal (U) Md Riwandi bin Awg Latip. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil dan anugerah terbaik kepada peserta kursus diikuti dengan
ucapan daripada Tetamu Kehormat, di mana beliau menekankan kepentingan memupuk sahsiah dan tingkah laku kepimpinan, supaya lebih cekap dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggungjawab serta mampu menyahut cabaran.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Koperal (U) Steven Jhonthen bin Sunnie dari Cawangan No. 1, Kumpulan Gerakan, TUDB. Terbaik dalam Akademik disandang oleh Koperal (U) Mohd Fauzi Ajizul bin Awg Johan dari Cawangan No. 6, Kumpulan Bantu, TUDB dan Penuntut Terbaik Amali disandang Koperal Md Aliuddin bin Hj Basar dari Kementerian Pertahanan.
Kursus Kepimpinan Koperal bertujuan untuk menyediakan kakitangan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dengan kemahiran kepimpinan yang sesuai, pendedahan terhadap peranan kepimpinan mereka dalam TUDB dan ABDB amnya. Kursus ini juga bertujuan untuk menajamkan potensi kakitangan sebagai pemimpin yang berkesan untuk menjadi lebih kompeten dan berkeyakinan untuk memimpin kakitangan bawahan serta melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab dengan berkesan dan cekap.
