MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, Wednesday 27 February 2019– Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah Bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the Australian International Airshow Aerospace and Defense Exposition which was held from 24 until 28 February 2019 in Melbourne. The theme of the 2019 AIAS was “Target Acquired: Air Power for Australia’s Future”.
On the sidelines of the visit, Commander RBAirF also made separated courtesy calls with the Chief of the Royal Australian Air Force Marshal, Mr. Leo Davies and the Chief of Air Staff Royal Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Hillier and Major General Thomas D. Weidley of United Sates Marine Corps.
The Commander RBAirF also had the opportunity to attend a plenary session on a keynote address, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution – A Catalyst for Partnership” by Mr. Nicholas Davis, Head of Society and Innovation of World Economic Forum. Mr. Davisemphasiseson the ”importance of collaboration across disciplines and sectors which is not only for design and development, and deployment of disruptive technologies but crucial for the development of new form of governance that will create public trust and organisations are able to access talents and cultural assets to realise their full promise”.
PEMERINTAH TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI MENGHADIRI THE 2019 AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW AND AEROSPACE & DEFENSE EXPOSITION

Tema acara tersebut ialah ”Target Acquired: Air Power for Australia’s Future“.
Dalam lawatan tersebut, Pemerintah TUDB juga membuat kunjungan hormat ke atas Ketua Marshal Tentera Udara Diraja Australia, Mr Leo Davies dan Ketua Staf Angkatan Udara Tentera Udara Diraja British, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen HillierdanMajor General Thomas D. Weidley of United Sates Marine Corps.
Pemerintah TUDB juga berpeluang untuk menghadiri sesi plenari yang bertajuk “The Fourth Industrial Revolution – A Catalyst for Partnership” by Mr. Nicholas Davis, Head of Society and Innovation of World Economic Forum.Mr Davis menekankan kepentingan kerjasama dan disiplin di seluruh sektor yang bukan sahaja untuk reka bentuk dan pembangunan, dan penggunaan teknologi mengganggu tetapi penting untuk pembangunan bentuk pentadbiran yang baru yang akan mewujudkan kepercayaan dan organisasi orang ramai dapat mengakses bakat dan aset budaya untuk merealisasikan janji penuh mereka.
