RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 15 November 2023 – A total of 115 students from DES School along with 03 teachers visited the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) today.
Upon arrival at Dewan Punai, they were welcomed by Lieutenant (U) Nadzirah binti Haji Awang Ramli, Higher National Diploma Lecturer, 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, who also delivered the welcoming brief. The students and teachers were given an overview of the RBAirF as well as the RBAirF’s roles and responsibilities. A corporate video of the RBAirF was also shown to the students and teachers for deeper understanding on the daily tasks of RBAirF personnel.
The students and teachers then viewed the static displays from each wing and interacted with RBAirF personnel before they concluded their visit with a group photo session.
The objective of the visit allowed the students to have an insight of the RBAirF assets, uniforms and the preparation required for a career in the RBAirF. This also gave the opportunity for the students who were interested in starting a career with the RBAirF in the future.
LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR BAGI SEKOLAH DES KE TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI (TUDB)
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Rabu, 15 November 2023 – Seramai 115 penuntut dari Sekolah DES, bersama 03 guru pengawas telah mengadakan lawatan sambil belajar ke Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB).
Ketibaan rombongan di Dewan Punai, Pangkalan Tentera Udara telah disambut oleh Leftenan (U) Nadzirah binti Haji Awang Ramli, Pensyarah Diploma Tertinggi Kebangsaan, Skuadron 75, Cawangan No. 7 yang mana juga telah memberikan taklimat kepada rombongan tersebut. Penuntut dan juga guru pengawas Sekolah DES telah diberikan taklimat tentang gambaran keseluruhan TUDB serta tugas dan tanggungjawab TUDB. Rakaman video juga ditayangkan kepada rombongan lawatan untuk memberi fahaman yang dalam dari segi kerja harian sebagai anggota TUDB.
Rombongan seterusnya melawat Pameran Statik dari setiap cawangan dan terus berinteraksi bersama anggota-anggota TUDB. Lawatan tersebut diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai.
Objektif lawatan ini adalah untuk memberi peluang kepada penuntut-penuntuk untuk melihat secara lebih dekat aset-aset serta pakaian seragam yang digunakan serta persiapan yang diperlukan dalam kerjaya di TUDB di masa hadapan.
