BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 8 March 2024 – With the blessings and hidayah from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, personnel from Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) recited the Dua Kalimah Syahadah today at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. The ceremony also celebrated eight personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) who had recently converted to Islam, which among them are four Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel.
Present at the conversion ceremony was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF. Also, present were Service Commanders, Acting Joint Force Commander RBAF, Military Directors, Senior Officers and personnel from the Ministry of Defence, Officers from the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs and family members of the newly converted personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Mu’minun from verses 1-11, followed by the Dua Kalimah Syahadah by Private Adi Aziman bin Alim led by Officer from the Islamic Da’wah Centre of Brunei Muara District, Ministry of Religious Affairs. To bless the ceremony, a Doa Selamat was recited, and the ceremony was enlivened with the recitation of takbir repeated three times and Dikir Marhaban with the sprinkling of bunga rampai.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of mementoes by the Commander of RBAF to newly converted personnel and followed by the the presentation of mementos by the Commander of RBAirF to the RBAirF personnel. Among the RBAirF personnel were Warrant Officer 1 (U) Ronald bin Aliman, Lance Corporal (U) Muhammad Steven Leroy Piere bin Sunnie, Private (U) Muhammad Jazmi bin Jupferi and Private (U) Amirul Azim bin Kimpat.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, RBN, Director of Religious Directorate of RBAF, a mass Fardhu Asar Prayer and a group photo session.
EMPAT ANGGOTA TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI YANG BARU MEMELUK AGAMA ISLAM TURUT DIRAIHKAN SEMASA MAJLIS PENGISLAMAN ANGGOTA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 8 Mac 2024 – Dengan berkat dan hidayah daripada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, seorang anggota, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah melafazkan Dua Kalimah Syahadah hari ini bertempat di Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garison. Turut diraikan di dalam majlis ini ialah lapan orang anggota Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) yang memeluk agama Islam baru-baru ini, diantaranya adalah empat orang anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB).
Hadir di Majlis Pengislaman tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah ABDB. Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Pemangku Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB, Pengarah-pengarah Tentera, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, anggota daripada Kementerian Pertahanan, Pegawai-pegawai daripada Pusat Dakwah Islamiah, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama dan kaum keluarga anggota-anggota yang diraikan
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Mu’minun daripada ayat 1-11 dan diteruskan dengan bacaan Dua Kalimah Syahadah oleh Soldadu Adi Aziman bin Alim yang dipimpin oleh Pegawai Pengislaman dari Pusat Da’wah Daerah Brunei Muara, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama. Bagi memberkati majlis, Doa Selamat telah dibaca dan diteruskan dengan dengan laungan takbir sebanyak tiga kali serta Dikir Marhaban dengan taburan bunga rampai.
Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian cenderahati oleh Pemerintah ABDB kepada saudara baru yang memeluk islam dan diikuti dengan penyampaian cenderahati oleh Pemerintah TUDB kepada anggota-anggota TUDB. Anggota dari TUDB adalah Pegawai Waran 1 (U) Ronald bin Alimin, Lans Koperal (U) Muhammad Steven Leroy Piere bin Sunnie, Soldadu (U) Muhammad Jazmi bin Jupferi dan Soldadu (U) Amirul Aziml bin Kimpat.
Majlis diakhiri dengan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam yang dibacakan oleh Komander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, TLDB, Pengarah JAMA’AT, Sembahyang Fardhu Asar berjemaah dan sesi bergambar ramai.
