GADONG, Sunday, 02 April 2023 – No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held an Iftar event with the former No. 2 Wing Officers and Sergeant Majors (SMs) that took place at a local restaurant in Gadong.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Joint Forces Commander, who was also the Commanding Officer of No. 2 Wing. Also present were Commanding Officer, Officers and Personnel of No. 2 Wing, RBAirF.
The event commenced with a group photo continued with the recitation of
Tahlil
Arwah and light refreshments to break the fasting before mass
Maghrib prayer. The event then continued with the main
Iftar course followed by a speech by the Commanding Officer of No.2 Wing. This
Iftar event aims to honour the contribution, commitment, and dedication of the former Officers and SMs that have throughout their service to the organisation.
MAJLIS IFTAR BERSAMA MANTAN-MANTAN PEGAWAI DAN SARJAN MEJAR CAWANGAN NO. 2, TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI
GADONG, Ahad, 02 April 2023 – Cawangan No. 2, Kumpulan Gerakan, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Iftar bersama mantan-mantan Pegawai dan Sarjan Mejar daripada Cawangan No. 2 bertempat di salah sebuah restoran di Gadong.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Perudin, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama dan yangmana beliau adalah juga Mantan Pegawai Pemerintah Cawangan No.2. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai Pemerintah, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota daripada Cawangan No.2, TUDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar ramai, diteruskan dengan bacaan Tahlil Arwah serta jamuan ringan untuk berbuka puasa sebelum menunaikan Sembahyang Maghrib berjemaah. Majlis diteruskan dengan menikmati juadah Iftar dan ucapan daripada Pegawai Pemerintah Cawangan No.2. Majlis ini diadakan bertujuan untuk menghargai sumbangan, komitmen dan dedikasi yang diberikan oleh mantan-mantan Pegawai dan Sarjan Mejar disepanjang perkhidmatan mereka di dalam organisasi ini.
