RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 18 October 2023 –
Military cadets from Universiti Brunei Darussalam had an educational visit at Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
The visit was attended by 29 military cadets and 2 supervisors, with the objective of offering the cadets insights and an introduction to the capabilities of RBAirF, including 31 Squadron. The visit commenced with a welcoming remark by Lieutenant (U) Nurul Farah binti Haji Suhaili, the Admin Officer of No. 3 Wing, RBAirF. The visit was followed with a brief introduction of 31 Squadron by Staff Sergeant (U) Ismady bin Emran, instructor of 31 Squadron and Question and Answer session with Captain Ali Saufi bin Hj Ali Safian, Officer Commanding of 31 Squadron.
During the visit, 31 Squadron personnel demonstrated a static airborne procedure followed by a demonstration of abseiling procedure. The visit continues with showcasing the maintenance measure of the main parachute as well as the procedure of repacking the parachutes. In addition, a static display of RBAirF’s assets and equipment are being shown to the military cadets. The visit concluded with a group photo session.
LAWATAN KADET TENTERA DARI UNIVERSITI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM KE TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI

– Kadet Tentera dari Universiti Brunei Darussalam telah mengadakan lawatan sambil belajar ke Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB).
Lawatan itu dihadiri oleh 29 kadet tentera dan 2 pengawas, dengan matlamat untuk memberikan pendedahan kepada kadet dan pengenalan kepada kemampuan TUDB, termasuk 31 Skuadron. Lawatan dimulakan dengan ucapan alu-aluan oleh Leftenan (U) Nurul Farah binti Haji Suhaili, Pegawai Pentadbir, Cawangan No. 3, TUDB. Lawatan diteruskan dengan Taklimat Pengenalan tentang Skuadron 31 oleh Staf Sarjan (U) Ismady bin Emran, Jurulatih di Skuadron 31, dan juga sesi Soal Jawab bersama Kapten Ali Saufi bin Hj Ali Safian, Pegawai Memerintah Skuadron 31.
Semasa lawatan, anggota Skuadron 31 memperlihatkan tatacara prosedur statik payung terjun diikuti dengan tatacara prosedur abseiling. Lawatan diteruskan dengan mempamerkan langkah penyelenggaraan payung terjun utama serta tatacara membungkus payung terjun. Lawatan ini juga mempamerkan statik aset dan peralatan TUDB kepada kadet tentera. Lawatan ini diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar bersama.
