PAF-RBAirF Aeromedical Evacuation SMEE 2023
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday 07 December 2023 - Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) took part in a virtual teleconference on Aeromedical Evacuation Subject Matter Experts’ Exchange (SMEE) hosted by the Philippines Air Force (PAF). The conference was attended by aircrew and medical personnel from both Air Forces. The conference featured various presentations on Aeromedical Evacuation, including Medevac, Casevac and Search and Rescue (SAR) operations by representatives from both Air Forces.

RBAirF OFFICER ATTENDS CN235/295 OPERATORS CONFERENCE IN SEVILLE, SPAIN
SPAIN, Tuesday 28 November 2023 – The CN235/C295 Operators Conference was held from 28 until 30 November 2023 at the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel in Seville, Spain. The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) was represented by a delegation led by Major (U) Arif Shamirul bin Salleh, Acting Head of Capability Development Cell, RBAirF Headquarters.
RBAirF PARTICIPATES IN CAREER STATIC DISPLAY VISIT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 5TH NATIONAL JAMBOREE OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 05 December 2023 – A static display was successfully exhibited in the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force, Tutong Camp and was participated with collaborative efforts of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), and Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). The visitors are from the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) and are also joined by Scouts from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. There was a total of 869 visitors attended the exhibition.
LAUNCHING CEREMONY OF SMART SYSTEM AT AIR MOVEMENT CENTRE, RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday 05 December 2023 – The Aircraft Innovation Support (AIS) from the Air Engineering Unit (AEU) of No. 5 Wing hosted the Service, Manufacture And Repair Tracking (SMART) system launching event at the Air Movement Centre. The aim of the event was to showcase the recently developed in-house system capability in digitising the current process. The SMART system aims to centralise data and information, while also serving as a digital platform that delivers accountability, traceability, transparency and efficiency.
RBAirF COMMANDER RECEIVES FAREWELL CALL FROM OUTGOING AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ADVISER
Rimba Air Force Base, Tuesday, 5 December 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Hj Ibrahim received a Farewell Call from the outgoing Defence Adviser (DA) of Australia to Brunei Darussalam, Wing Commander Matt Charles Xerri.
