CLOSING CEREMONY FOR SERGEANT LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT COURSE 2023
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 03 November 2023 – The Closing Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Air
Force (RBAirF) Sergeant Leadership and Management Course Serial 2023 was held
at Punai Hall, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). Present as the Guest of Honour
was Major (U) Mohamad Nashriq bin Moksin, the Acting Commanding Officer of No.
7 Wing, RBAirF. Also present were No. 7 Wing Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned
Officers and instructors of Leadership and Management RBAirF, No. 7 Wing.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF SUPPORT GROUP RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 01 November 2023 - A Promotion Ceremony for 15 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) from Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) was held at No. 4 Wing Lobby, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). Among those promoted were nine Acting Staff Sergeant and six Acting Sergeant from No. 4 Wing, No. 5 Wing, and No. 6 Wing, RBAirF, respectively.
RBAirF OFFICER COMPLETES THE 54TH COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE IN REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 02 November 2023 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) proudly announces that Major (U) Abdul Hamiz bin Osman has successfully completed the 54th Command and Staff Course (CSC) at the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College (GKSCSC) in Singapore, exemplifying the strong defence ties between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore.
RBAirF OFFICER PARTICIPATES IN EXERCISE COORDINATED RESPONSE (EX COORES) TABLE TOP EXERCISE (TTX) 2023
CHANGI, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 2 November 2023 - Exercise Coordinated Response (Ex COORES) Table Top Exercise (TTX) 2023, co-organised by the Disaster Management Committee, Ministry of National Defence, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Changi Regional HADR Coordination Centre (Changi RHCC), and the United States Centre for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CFE-DM) was held at the Changi Command and Control Centre (CC2C), Changi Naval Base from 30 October to 02 November 2023. It was participated by more than 180 personnel from 26 militaries and 25 civilian organisations. The RBAirF was represented by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohd Anwar Shah bin Haji Napiah, Commanding Officer, No. 3 Wing.
RBAirF PARTICIPATES IN THE RBAF HALF MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIP AND 10KM RACE 2023
TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 02 November, 2023 - The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted and participated in the the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Half Marathon Championship and 10km Race 2023 event. The units that participated in the championship were the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), the Joint Force Headquarters RBAF (JFHQ RBAF), and the Special Forces Regiment (SFR).
NO.2 WING ROYAL BRUNEI AIRFORCE, THE 9th EXERCISE WIRA BUMI
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 26 October 2023 – No. 2 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (No. 2 Wg, RBAirF) conducted the 9th Exercise Wira Bumi. The exercise was held from 16 until 26 October 2023 at Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). A total of 280 personnel from No. 2 Wg supported by No. 1 Wg, No. 3 Wg, No. 6 Wg and No. 7 Wg. The purpose of this exercise is to test the readiness and preparedness of No. 2 Wg as part of RBAirF daily routine, which is also focusing on reviewing the current doctrine in RBAirF, and No. 2 Wg’s Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTPs).
