RBAirF RECEIVED WORKING VISIT BY DEPUTY COMMANDER OF SOUTHERN THEATER COMMAND OF THE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY (CPLA)
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 17 October 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received a visit from Vice Admiral Wei Wenhui, Deputy Commander of the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and delegation at RBAirF’s Headquarters, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
RBAirF OFFICERS COMPLETE 18th EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 13 October 2023 - Five senior officers of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) have successfully concluded the 18th Executive Development Programme (EDP) for Senior Government Officials in Public Policy and Management. This programme was hosted by the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS), a part of the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), in collaboration with the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at the National University of Singapore.
THE RBAirF HOLDS THE HAJAT PRAYER, THE RECITATION OF SURAH YASIN AND PRAYER TO SEEK PROTECTION AND SAFETY FOR THE PEOPLE AND COUNTRY OF PALESTINE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 12 October 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) performed the Sunat Hajat prayer at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base. Present at the event was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohd Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya, Assistant Chief of Staff A7, Royal Brunei Air Force.
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE SAFETY OFFICERS COURSE 01/23 (RSOC 01/23)
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, 12 October 2023 – Major (U) Azhar @ Reamy bin Hj Jumat, Staff Officer 2 Aviation Safety participated in the RSOC 01/23 held at the Air Force Training Command (AFTC) organized by the Air Force Inspectorate (AFI) Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) from the 27 September to 12 October 2023. The RSOC 01/23 was also attended by two officers from Tentera Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara (TNI AU).
RBAirF OFFICER COMPLETES ROYAL THAI AIR FORCE AIR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE CLASS OF 67
BANGKOK, THAILAND, Friday, 20 September 2023 - Major (U) Hj Muhammad Faiz bin Hj Mohamad had successfully completed the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) Air Command and Staff Course Class of 67 (ACSC 67) at the RTAF Air Command and Staff College, Don Mueang Air Base. The RTAF ACSC was conducted from the 02nd of October 2022 to the 20th of September 2023. Participants of ACSC67 includes officers from Thailand’s Ministry of Defence, the Royal Thai Armed Forces, the Royal Thai Army, the Royal Thai Navy, the Royal Thai Air Force, and other international friendly forces, totalling to 111 students. International students comprise of officers from Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Singapore, the United States of America, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. ACSC is a year-long course that has an education philosophy ‘to build and develop potential to produce officers ready to be commanders and Chief of Staff of RTAF that is based on high moral and judgement qualities’. Course participants are expected to succeed in command, leadership, and military operations, while focusing on the cultivation of enduring personal traits. ACSC is a year-long course fully conducted in the Thai Language, and thus, in preparation for the course, international students attended the Thai Language Course, conducted by the Directorate of Education, RTAF via Video Teleconference (VTC) from 01 February 2022 and graduated on 29 September 2022.
03 RBAIRF OFFICERS GRADUATED FROM THE 13TH COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE
KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 11 October 2023 – The 13th Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Command and Staff Course (CSC) concluded with a closing ceremony held at the RBAF Defense Academy (DA RBAF) in Kampong Tanah Jambu. A group of 35 officers has successfully completed this 40-week program. Notably, three of the graduating officers were from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
