MILITARY PERSONNEL DISCIPLINARY PROGRAM WORKSHOP SERIAL 2, 2023/2024
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 08 November 2023 - Military personnel disciplinary program workshop was held at Punai Hall, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB) attended by total of 30 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel from various wings. The workshop was hosted by ‘Pusat PRIHATIN ABDB’, in effort to increase awareness for military personnel from violating any of the military disciplines. The objectives of the workshop are to enhance self-discipline towards military personnel and enlighten all workshop participants toward their responsibility and importance of military discipline.
RBAirF AIRCREWS ATTENDS THE AIRCRAFT UNDERWATER ESCAPE TRAINING COURSE IN KUALA BELAIT
KUALA BELAIT, Thursday, 09 November 2023 – A total of 12 aircrews from 11 Squadron, 15 Squadron and 73 Squadron, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the Aircraft Underwater Escape Training (AUET) course conducted by Megamas Training Company Sendirian Berhad in Kuala Belait. The training was held for two days from 08 to 09 November 2023.
THE CLOSING CEREMONY FOR AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN SUPERVISORY UPGRADING COURSE NO. 45 AND AVIATION MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT COURSE NO. 14.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 09 November 2023 – No. 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a closing ceremony for the Aircraft Technician Supervisory Upgrading (ATSU) Course No. 45 and Aviation Maintenance Management (AMM) Course No. 14. The ATSU Course commenced on the 15 September to 10 November 2023 (8 weeks), with a total of 07 participants, whereas the AMM Course began on 10 October to 10 November 2023 (5 weeks) with 11 participants. Both courses consisted of participants from the RBAirF, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Technical Equipment Maintenance Division (TEMD) engineers.
COMMANDING OFFICER’S PARADE FOR NO. 3 WING, OPERATIONS GROUP
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 09 November 2023 – No. 3 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) today held the Commanding Officer Parade held at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The parade was led by Captain (U) Pengiran Afiq Ikram bin Pengiran Haji Kamaluddin.
PUSAR ULAK PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO RBAirF SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT SECTION
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 08 November 2023 – 30 students and 10 teachers from Pusar Ulak Primary School took an educational field visit to Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The visit was made to Survival Equipment Section (SES), No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), where they were exposed into the aviation survival equipment and maintenance. This visit allowed the students to gain a deeper understanding of the vital equipment utilised by aircrew and passengers during flying operations, as well as discover the career of a Survival Equipment Technician.
RBAIRF RECEIVES OFFICE CALL FROM COMMANDER PARTICIPATION COMMAND, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE (RSAF)
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 07 November 2023 - Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of the RBAirF received an office call from Colonel Marcel Xu, Commander Participation Command (PC), RSAF accompanied by its Defence Adviser, Colonel Chee Peter, Lieutenant Colonel Tan Hiok Sen, Command Safety Officer, PC, Lieutenant Colonel Irving Chieng, Commander Brunei Helicopter Detachment (BHC) and Captain Yeo Eng Chow, Staff Officer (SO).
