THANKSGIVING CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH 40 YEARS OF AIR DEFENCE ESTABLISHMENT
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE. Thursday, 31 August 2023 – No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Thanksgiving Ceremony in conjunction with their 40 years of Air Defence establishment in RBAirF.
BASIC MILITARY FREEFALL COURSE 2/2023
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 31 August 2023 – 13 personnel consisting of 12 airmen and 01 airwoman from 31 Squadron have completed the Basic Military Freefall Course which was held at the Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The Guest of Honour was Colonel (U) Hishammudin bin Abidin, Commander of Operations Group, RBAirF. Also present during the event were officers from the RBAirF.
SENDING-OFF CEREMONY FOR EXERCISE AIRGUARD 27/23 PARTICIPANTS TO THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 28 August 2023 - Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a sending-off ceremony for No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF that will depart to The Republic of Singapore for its annual bilateral exercise called Exercise Airguard (Ex Airguard) from 28 August until 11 September 2023 at Air Movement Centre (AMC), RBAirF.
ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE OPERATIONS WORKSHOP
AIR MOVEMENT CENTRE, RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 29 August 2023 – The Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held its first ever Operations Workshop led by Commander Operations Group, RBAirF. The workshop contained a series of presentations by the Commanding Officers of Operations Group which was delivered to the Board of Executives and senior officers of RBAirF, which have been an accumulated product of focus groups and research done by their individual wing and squadrons.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR AIR MOVEMENT FLIGHT GROUND HANDLING BASIC COURSE NO. 04/2023
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 25 August 2023 – The closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the Air Movement Flight Ground Handling Basic Course No. 04/2023 took place at the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Rimba Air Force Base. The five weeks course that started from 21 July until 25 August was conducted by 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) with a total of three participants from No. 3 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR CORPORAL LEADERSHIP COURSE SESSION 2023
JERUDONG, Friday, 25 August 2023 – The Closing Ceremony for the Corporal Leadership Course Session 2023 was held today. The course was conducted by the Leadership Cell of No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) for three weeks. It was attended by a total of 46 course participants of which 44 personnel were from the RBAirF, 01 personnel from Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and 01 personnel from Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF).
