RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE,
Thursday, 03 August 2023 – Air Engineering Unit, Technical Equipment
Maintenance Division (AEU TEMD) of No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force
(RBAirF) held Majlis Dikir Marhaban and Doa Kesyukuran to celebrate AEU
personnel returning from performing Hajj at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air
Force Base (Rimba AFB).
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR BASIC INTRODUCTORY SIGNAL WORKSHOP
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 10 August 2023
– The closing ceremony for 10 course participants of Basic Introductory
Signal Workshop was held at the Fire Service Flight Training Room,
Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB) today. The course was conducted from 07
to 10 August 2023 and consisted of personnel from the Signal Squadron
and Fire Service Flight, No. 3 Wing as well as personnel from Regimental
Police, No. 6 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE FIXED WING PILOT TRAINING COURSE-59 STUDENT PILOTS FIRST SOLO FLIGHT
CAMDEN,
AUSTRALIA, Tuesday, 08 August 2023 – A total of 08 Student pilots
undergoing Basic and Intermediate Fixed Wing Pilot Training Course-59
have completed their first solo flight at Air Combat Australia between
31 July 2023 to 08 August 2023. A student pilot’s First Solo flight is a
big milestone in their journey of becoming a pilot. As tradition, to
celebrate their success, a hose down was done by the flight instructors.

CHONG PANG CAMP, SINGAPORE, Thursday, 27 July 2023 – Final Planning Conference (FPC) for the 27th Exercise Airguard 2023 was held for 03 days from 25 to 27 July 2023 between Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 04 August 2023 – No. 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted an engaging ‘Fireside Chat’ session with Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the RBAirF Commander at the RBAirF Officers’ Lounge, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). This session, moderated by Major (U) Muhammad Izdihar bin Haji Imran, proved to be a vibrant platform for officers to discuss a plethora of topics and issues in a relaxed and laid-back setting.
RBAirF SPOUSE GUIDEBOOK BRIEF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Sunday, 06 August 2023 - To enable spouses of our Airmen and Airwomen to better understand our organisation and their roles in supporting their military spouses, the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) will launch its inaugural Spouse Guidebook. Designed to answer wide-ranging and frequently asked questions by spouses, the guidebook provides a wealth of knowledge for spouses to learn more about the organisation and better understand their spouses’ roles as members of the armed forces. The guidebook also offers guidance on protocol, etiquette, and other useful information.
