DINNER NIGHT IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAirF’S 57TH ANNIVERSARY
KAMPONG LUGU, Friday, 11 August 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Dinner Night Event in conjunction with RBAirF’s 57th Anniversary. This combined event gathered about 650 RBAirF Officers and Senior Non-Commission Officers, coming from internal and external units. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, RBAirF Commander and spouse, Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim.
RBAirF PARTICIPATES IN THE 10TH ASEAN AIR FORCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING WORKING GROUP MEETING
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 09 August 2023
– The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) participated in the 10th ASEAN
Air Force Education and Training Working Group (10th AAFET-WG) Meeting
with the theme of “Advancing Education and Training Exchanges for
Sustainable Environment Amongst ASEAN Air Forces”, which was hosted
virtually by the Myanmar Air Force (MAF) on 09 August 2023. From the
RBAirF, the delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran
Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohammad Roslan, Commanding Officer of
No. 7 Wing, RBAirF. Other members of the delegation were Captain (U)
Pengiran Abdul Azim bin Pengiran Idris, Training and Planning Officer
No. 7 Wing, RBAirF, and Captain (U) Mohd Aliff bin Haji Zulkifli, Acting
Staff Officer Grade 2 A7, RBAirF Headquarters.
DIKIR MARHABAN AND DOA KESYUKURAN EVENT FOR RETURNING HAJJ PILGRIMAGE OF NO. 5 WING
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE,
Thursday, 03 August 2023 – Air Engineering Unit, Technical Equipment
Maintenance Division (AEU TEMD) of No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force
(RBAirF) held Majlis Dikir Marhaban and Doa Kesyukuran to celebrate AEU
personnel returning from performing Hajj at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air
Force Base (Rimba AFB).
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR BASIC INTRODUCTORY SIGNAL WORKSHOP
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 10 August 2023
– The closing ceremony for 10 course participants of Basic Introductory
Signal Workshop was held at the Fire Service Flight Training Room,
Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB) today. The course was conducted from 07
to 10 August 2023 and consisted of personnel from the Signal Squadron
and Fire Service Flight, No. 3 Wing as well as personnel from Regimental
Police, No. 6 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE FIXED WING PILOT TRAINING COURSE-59 STUDENT PILOTS FIRST SOLO FLIGHT
CAMDEN,
AUSTRALIA, Tuesday, 08 August 2023 – A total of 08 Student pilots
undergoing Basic and Intermediate Fixed Wing Pilot Training Course-59
have completed their first solo flight at Air Combat Australia between
31 July 2023 to 08 August 2023. A student pilot’s First Solo flight is a
big milestone in their journey of becoming a pilot. As tradition, to
celebrate their success, a hose down was done by the flight instructors.
FINAL PLANNING CONFERENCE FOR THE 27TH EXERCISE AIRGUARD 2023
CHONG PANG CAMP, SINGAPORE, Thursday, 27 July 2023 – Final Planning Conference (FPC) for the 27th Exercise Airguard 2023 was held for 03 days from 25 to 27 July 2023 between Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
