COMMANDER OPERATION GROUP RECEIVES OFFICE CALL FROM US PACAF
Rimba Air Force Base, Monday, 19 June 2023 – Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, the Acting Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Air Force received an office call from Lieutenant Colonel Eric Thorstad, Mission Commander of Exercise PACANGEL 23-3 from the United States Pacific Air Force (US PACAF). In attendance were Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Walee bin Haji Roslie, Commanding Officer of No. 1 Wing and Lieutenant Commander Samuel Kim, the Chief of Office of Defense Cooperation, United States Embassy.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday 19 June 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim received a Farewell Call from the outgoing Detachment Commander of Brunei Helicopter Detachment, Lieutenant Colonel Ng Kehang. Also present was Acting Deputy Commander of RBAirF, Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday,15th Jun 2023 – The Korban, Aqiqah and Kelahiran Workshop for military and civilian personnel of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) organised by the Religious Directorate of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT) held from 12th June 2023 to 16th June 2023 at Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
CLOSING CEREMONY AND CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION FOR BELL 206B JET RANGER III TECHNICAL COURSE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 19 June 2023 – The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for the Bell 206B Jet Ranger III Technical Course was conducted by 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) from 05 to 16 June 2023 and was held at 73 Squadron, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The graduates consisted of 02 Student Pilots from 73 Squadron, 7 Wing, RBAirF, namely Lieutenant (U) Dayang Nikmatul Fatinah binti Haji Awang Ismail and Lieutenant (U) Mohammad Khalid Wassadi Salleh bin Haji Mahmud.
FAREWELL EVENT FOR BRUNEI HELICOPTER DETACHMENT TEAM, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 June 2023 – In the spirit of good sportsmanship and friendship, No. 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted members of Brunei Helicopter Detachment, Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) to a friendly dodgeball games held at the Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB) Sports Complex. Welcoming the delegation, which was led by Lieutenant Colonel Ng Kehang, Detachment Commander of Brunei Helicopter Detachment was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Walee bin Haji Roslie, Commanding Officer of No. 1 Wing, RBAirF.
15 SQUADRON PILOTS COMPLETED THEIR CN235-110M CONVERSION COURSE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 June 2023 – Two pilots, Captain (U) Mohamad Khairuddin bin Mohamad Ali and Captain (U) Pengiran Muhammad Izzat bin Pengiran Sufri, successfully completed their CN235-110M conversion course at 15 Squadron, No. 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). On 15 June 2023, they concluded their training by completing their final sortie of the course, signifying their achievement. As a customary tradition within the flying squadrons, pilots who reach significant milestones or complete courses are honoured with a celebratory hose down from their Commanding Officer (CO), Officer-In-Command (OC), and flying instructors. The celebratory hose down serves as a congratulatory gesture to acknowledge their accomplishment.
