15 SQUADRON PILOTS COMPLETED THEIR CN235-110M CONVERSION COURSE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 June 2023 – Two pilots, Captain (U) Mohamad Khairuddin bin Mohamad Ali and Captain (U) Pengiran Muhammad Izzat bin Pengiran Sufri, successfully completed their CN235-110M conversion course at 15 Squadron, No. 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). On 15 June 2023, they concluded their training by completing their final sortie of the course, signifying their achievement. As a customary tradition within the flying squadrons, pilots who reach significant milestones or complete courses are honoured with a celebratory hose down from their Commanding Officer (CO), Officer-In-Command (OC), and flying instructors. The celebratory hose down serves as a congratulatory gesture to acknowledge their accomplishment.
CLOSING CEREMONY AND CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION FOR CLASS 3 DRIVING ‘IVECO CONVERSION’ SERIAL 1 SESSION 2023/2024 COURSE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 June 2023 - A total of 24 personnel from No. 2 Wing, No. 3 Wing, No. 5 Wing, No. 6 Wing and No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the Class 3 Driving ‘Iveco Conversion’ Serial 1 Session 2023/2024 Course. A closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the course was held at the Punai Hall, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohammad Roslan, Commanding Officer No. 7 Wing, RBAirF.
RBAirF RECEIVES VISIT FROM STELLA SCHOOL
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 14 June 2023 – 139 students and 16 teachers from Stella School visited Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) from 13 to 14 June 2023.
STUDENT PILOTS’ FIRST SOLO FLIGHT IN BASIC AND ADVANCE ROTARY WING PILOT TRAINING COURSE
AUSTRALIA, Sunday, 11 June 2023 – 02 student pilots from 73 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) undergoing their Basic and Advance Rotary Wing Pilot Training (B’ARWPT) Course at Air Combat Australia, Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Dzulfadhli bin Bahrin and Lieutenant (U) Siti Nor Aqilah binti Haji Mohammad Safri have successfully completed their first solo flights under the guidance and supervision of their flight instructor.
RBAirF PARTICIPATES IN THE INAUGURAL TRAINING WORKING GROUP (TWG) OF THE GLOBAL AIR FORCES CLIMATE CHANGE COLLABORATION (GAFCCC)
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 07 June 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) participated in the Inaugural Training Working Group (TWG) of The Global Air Forces Climate Change Collaboration (GAFCCC), which was hosted virtually by the German Air Force (GAF). The aim of the Working Group is to identify how the world’s Air Forces incorporate the latest technologies in training to increase operational effectiveness in order to contribute to a wider and common strategy for sustainability and NetZero targets.
31 SQUADRON PERSPECTIVE ON RBAF 62ND ANNIVERSARY
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 31 May 2023 – A total of 31 paratroopers, 21 personnel from 31 Squadron, No. 3 Wing Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and 10 personnel from other Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Unit have demonstrated a Static Airborne jump in conjunction with the 62nd Anniversary of the RBAF from Blackhawk S70i and CN-235 aircrafts RBAirF.
