31 SQUADRON PERSPECTIVE ON RBAF 62ND ANNIVERSARY
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 31 May 2023 – A total of 31 paratroopers, 21 personnel from 31 Squadron, No. 3 Wing Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and 10 personnel from other Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Unit have demonstrated a Static Airborne jump in conjunction with the 62nd Anniversary of the RBAF from Blackhawk S70i and CN-235 aircrafts RBAirF.
AIR MOVEMENT FLIGHT, NO 3 WING – PERSPECTIVE FOR THE 62ND RBAF ANNIVERSARY.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 30 May 2023 - Air Movement Flight (AMF) had the opportunity to partake in the one of the most memorable events in RBAF’s 62nd Anniversary by coordinating and providing ground handling efforts for participating military aircraft from 7 countries for the Air Capability Static Display which was proudly held on the 31st May 2023 in Rimba Airbase. The involvement by the Airspace Control Early Warning Squadron (ACEWS) and the Fire Service Flight (FSF) as a combined effort to ensure safe coordination of vehicles movement on the apron and providing safe and responsive fire prevention service during arrival/departure of the aircraft.
PREPARATION OF RBAIRF AIRCRAFTS FOR RBAF 62ND ANNIVERSARY – NO. 5 WING PERSPECTIVE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 31 May 2023 – No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) has been actively undertaking maintenance work on the Blackhawk S-70i aircrafts and CN-235 in preparation for the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd Anniversary. Extensive maintenance work including inspections, checks, servicing and component replacements were performed in order to ensure the optimal performance and safety of these aircrafts. Each aircraft was also carefully assessed to identify any potential issues and functional checks were carried out to ensure that all systems were in proper working order.
NO.1 WING PERSPECTIVE ON RBAF 62ND ANNIVERSARY
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 31 May 2023 – 11 Squadron and 15 Squadron has been involved in revitalizing the celebration of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd Anniversary by performing a flypast with 06 Sikorsky Blackhawk S70i aircraft from 11 Squadron and 01 CN-235 aircraft from 15 Squadron, No. 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
PROVIDING SECURITY AND COUNTER DRONE – A PERSPECTIVE FROM NO. 2 WING, RBAIRF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Jumaat, 02 June 2023 - In preparation to celebrate the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd anniversary, No. 2 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) was tasked to secure and protect aircraft assets of the friendly forces. 233 Squadron was tasked to provide airspace protection from any drone threats to the assets, while 236 Squadron were to provide aircraft security throughout their stay in Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR DRIVER IMPROVEMENT COURSE 2023
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 2 June 2023 – The closing ceremony for 33 course participants across Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) of Driver Improvement Course 2023 was held today at the Driving Training Branch, Military Trade School, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Penanjong Garrison. Amongst the 33 were 04 personnel from No. 2 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). The course conducted by the Driving Training Branch commenced from 8 May 2023 until 2 June 2023.
