Warfare Officer Ground Based Air Defence (AWO GBAD) RBS-70 course in
the Republic of Singapore beginning 22 May 2023. Attending the course
are Captain (U) Pengiran Muddaththir Zaki bin Pengiran Haji Baharuddin,
Training Officer Recruit Company from Training Institute Royal Brunei
Armed Forces (TI RBAF) and Captain (U) Muhammad Shah Redzuan bin Haji
Mat Serudin, Troop Commander 233 Squadron, No. 2 Wing, Operations Group,
RBAirF.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR BASIC SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT FITTER INTAKE 6/2023 NO. 01

– The closing ceremony for the Basic Survival Equipment Fitter Intake
6/2023 was conducted by 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force
(RBAirF). The course was held for 12 weeks starting from 27 February
2023 until 19 May 2023, with a total of 9 course participants from No. 5
Wing.
RBAirF HELD YAASIN AND TAHLIL AT ROYAL MAUSOLEUM IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES 62nd ANNIVERSARY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 17 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim and RBAirF personnel went to the Royal Mausoleum to recite the Surah Yaasin and Tahlil in memory of the late Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, the late Sultan’s wife Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abd Rahman and Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim Ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah. The event was carried out in conjunction with the 62nd Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
RBAirF COMMANDER RECEIVES FAREWELL CALL FROM OUTGOING UNITED KINGDOM DEFENCE ADVISOR
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 17 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim received a Farewell Call from the outgoing United Kingdom Defence Advisor (DA) to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Group Captain Graeme Davis.
VIRTUAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT EXCHANGE WITH PIC
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 12 May 2023 - A presentation on Hypersonic Weapons was delivered as part of the Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) series. This presentation was delivered successfully by the US Pacific Air Force (PACAF) to 14 other participating Air Forces including the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) on 12 May 2023 via video teleconference (VTC). The subject was presented by Ralph Cannon from the Joint Ballistic Missile Defense Training and Education Center (JBTEC), and the representatives from the RBAirF was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, Commanding Officer of No. 2 wing, RBAirF as well as other air defence personnel.
THREE RBAirF OFFICERS ATTENDED THE BASIC LOGISTICS OFFICERS COURSE SERIAL 2022
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 12 May 2023 - A total of 28 course participants including three officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) completed the Basic Logistics Officers Course Serial 2022 with a Closing Ceremony at the Officer’s Mess Penanjong Garrison. Representing from RBAirF were Lieutenant (U) Dayangku Nurafifah binti Pg Haji Damit, Lieutenant (U) Md hafiy Mahdi bin Marzuki and Lieutenant (U) Md Saifullah bin Hj Matamit. The course was conducted by Logistics Training Unit, School of Military Trade from 20 March 2023 until 12 May 2023.
