PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR PERSONNEL OF OPERATIONS GROUP, RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 30 October 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a promotion ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) under the Operations Group at Punai Hall, Rimba Air Force Base. A total of twenty-eight personnel comprising twelve SNCOs and sixteen JNCOs received their respective rank promotions.
OPERATIONS GROUP APPRECIATION DINNER
GADONG, Friday, 31 October 2025 – An appreciation dinner in honour of Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya the former Commander Operations Group was held by the Commander Operations Group, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohd Roslan, together with officers, personnel and family members of the Operations Group Headquarters.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR JUNIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF NO. 6 WING, SUPPORT GROUP, ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 31 October 2025 – No. 6 Wing, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force held a Promotion Ceremony for nine Junior Non-Commissioned Officers, comprising seven Substantive Corporals, one Acting Corporal and one Substantive Lance Corporal.
71st INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF AVIATION AND SPACE MEDICINE (ICASM) 2025
SINGAPORE, Thursday 30 October 2025 – The 71st International Congress of Aviation and Space Medicine (ICASM) 2025 took place in Singapore from 27 October to 30 October 2025. The congress was co-organised by the Society of Aviation Medicine and Psychology Singapore (SAMPS) and the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine (IAASM), with support from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). This year’s theme, “Soaring Towards New Horizons in Aviation and Space Medicine”, brought together approximately 500 delegates from over 46 countries.
EDUCATIONAL VISIT FORM ABDUL BUBIN PRIMARY SCHOOL, SUNGAI BESAR, DATU MAHAWANGSA PRIMARY SCHOOL, LAMBAK CLUSTER 3 AND MUDA HASHIM PRIMARY SCHOOL, TUTONG CLUSTER 5 TO RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 03 November 2025 – A total of one hundred and forty-five individuals consisting of students and teachers from Abdul Bubin Primary School, Sungai Besar, Datu Mahawangsa Primary School, Lambak Cluster 3 and Muda Hashim Primary School, Tutong Cluster 5 conducted an educational visit to the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at Rimba Air Force Base. The visit was organised as part of their school learning activity, providing early exposure to the roles, mission sets, selected assets and operational capabilities employed by the RBAirF in safeguarding Brunei Darussalam’s air domain.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 04 November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted an educational visit from Sekolah Rendah Dato Mohd Yassin, Cluster 2 and Sekolah Rendah Lambak Kanan involving one hundred and forty students accompanied by sixteen teachers. The visit served as part of their school learning activity, providing early exposure to the roles, mission sets, selected assets and operational equipment employed by the RBAirF in safeguarding Brunei Darussalam’s air domain.
