INVITATION FOR SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT EXCHANGE FROM THE PACIFIC INTEGRATED AIR AND MISSILE DEFENSE CENTER
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 December 2022 – The Subject Matter Expert Exchange from The Pacific Integrated Air and Missile Defense Center was held virtually at the No.4 Wing Meeting Room, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
HANDOVER TAKEOVER CEREMONY OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER NO. 5 WING, RBAirF.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 December 2022 – No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) has received a new Commanding Officer. The change in command ceremony was between Lieutenant Colonel (U) Schufin bin Haji Brahim and Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Mohamed Khairul Arifin bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Salleh. The ceremony took place at Hangar B, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
APPRECIATION EVENT FOR RETIRING PERSONNEL FROM NO. 2 WING, RBAirF
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 15 December 2022 – No. 2 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted an Appreciation Breakfast Event for retiring personnel and retiring civil servants No. 2 Wing, RBAirF at a local restaurant. The event commenced with the recitation of Doa and followed by the presentation of gifts as a token of appreciation by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, Commanding Officer No. 2 Wing, RBAirF to the retiring personnel and Civil Servant.
COMPLETION OF HELICOPTER FLIGHT TRAINING COURSE
CAMDEN, AUSTRALIA, Tuesday, 13 December 2022 – 04 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Student Pilots successfully completed their Helicopter Flight Training Course at Air Combat Australia (ACA), Camden, Australia. Lieutenant (U) Abdul Hamiz bin Musa, Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Fariz bin Tajuddin, Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Ghazali bin Haji Suhaili and Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Amirul ‘Azmi bin Haji Ali Amzah successfully completed the aforementioned course in a span of six months.
15 SQUADRON, NO. 1 WING PERSONNEL ATTEND OPERATION CHRISTMAS DROP 2022, ANDERSEN AIRFORCE BASE, GUAM
GUAM, Saturday, 10 December 2022 – Two Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel, Captain (U) Pengiran Mohammad Izzat bin Pengiran Sufri and Warrant Officer 2 (U) Mohamad Erwan bin Mohamed attended the Operation Christmas Drop (OCD) 2022 as part of International Observer in Andersen Air Force Base, Guam from 04 to 10 December 2022.
12 RBAirF OFFICERS GRADUATE THE 22ND INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE
KG. TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 08 December 2022 – A total of 12 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAiF) officers completed the 22nd Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Intermediate Staff Course (ISC) hosted by the Leadership and Management Centre, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The closing ceremony was held at the DA RBAF today.
