RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 07 December 2022 – The 2nd Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) – United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Airman to Airman Talks (A2AT) was successfully hosted this week by RBAirF from 06 to 07 December 2022 at the RBAirF Headquarters.

– Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, the Acting Deputy Commander of
the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), receives a Courtesy Call from
Colonel Eric Schmidt, the Deputy Director of Strategy, Plans and,
Programs, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). Colonel Eric was
accompanied by Lieutenant Commander Samuel S. Kim, the Chief of Defence
Operation Cooperation Embassy of The United States of America in Brunei
Darussalam, Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Gardner, the Deputy Chief of
International Affairs-Southeast Asia Branch, PACAF, and Mr. Alex Zhang,
the Country Director-Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, International Affairs
Division.

– Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato
Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander today
received a Courtesy Call from Colonel Sedat Öztürk, the Defence Attaché
of the Republic of Türkiye accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR THE FIRE WARDEN COURSE 02/2022
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 02 December 2022
– The Closing Ceremony for the Fire Warden 02/2022 was conducted by
Fire Service Flight, No. 3 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at the
Fire Station, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The Fire Warden Course
was conducted from 28 November 2022 to 02 December 2022. A total of 22
personnel participated in the course.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 37 JUNIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF NO. 6 WING, RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 02 December 2022
– No. 6 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) today held a promotion
ceremony for 37 Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of No. 6 Wing,
RBAirF which consisted of 08 personnel promoted to Acting Corporal, 09
personnel promoted to Substantive Lance Corporal and 20 personnel
promoted to Acting Lance Corporal.
RBAirF OFFICER COMPLETES AUSTRALIAN COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE
CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA, Friday, 02 December 2022 - Major (U) Abdul Hamid Moslim had successfully completed the Australia Command and Staff Course (ACSC) at the Australian War College from the 17 January to the 02 December 2022. Officers and Warrant Officers from the Australian Defense Force, the Australian Public Service, and the International Defense Forces comprised about a quarter of the 191 Course Members who attended the on-campus full-time residential course. The aim of the course is to produce officers who can fulfill command and staff appointments in single-Service, joint, multinational, and interagency environments. Course participants are expected to succeed in command, leadership, and military operations, while focusing on the cultivation of enduring personal traits.
