RBAirF COMMANDER ATTENDS 19TH ASEAN AIR CHIEFS CONFERENCE
LUANG PRABANG, LAO PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC, Friday, 04 November 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander attended the 19th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (AACC) from 03 November 2022 to 05 November 2022 hosted by the Air Force Command, Lao People’s Army. The event was conducted in the city of Luang Prabang. Accompanying the RBAirF Commander were his spouse, Datin Noraidah bte Haji Ibrahim, the Staff Officer Grade 2 for Intelligence and Security and Staff Officer Grade 3 of the RBAirF Commander’s Secretariat.
RBAirF PARTICIPATES IN INDO DEFENCE 2022 EXPO AND FORUM, JAKARTA
JAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Friday, 04 November 2022
– 02 Blackhawk S-70i took part in the supporting activities of Indo
Defence 2022 Expo and Forum held at Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta,
Republic of Indonesia. As part of the event, the contingent from Royal
Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), consisting of members from 11 Squadron No. 1
Wing and 51 Squadron of No. 5 wing, took part in demonstration flight
and static display.
OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 26th EXERCISE AIRGUARD
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 02 November 2022 – The opening ceremony of the 26th Exercise AIRGUARD between No. 2 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and 18 Divisional Air Defence Artillery Battalion, Republic of Singapore Air Force (18 DA Bn RSAF) took place today at the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). No. 2 Wing RBAirF is hosting this year’s 26th Exercise AIRGUARD which will be held for 15 days from 31 October 2022 until 14 November 2022 after it was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic since 2020.
THE RAJA ISTERI GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL (STPRI) VISIT RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday 1 November 2022 – A total of 43 students from The Raja Isteri Girls High School (STPRI), along with 06 teaching staffs, Officer Commanding of Brunei Cadet Force and 02 Instructors from The Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment (RBMRR), visited the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) today.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF 28TH COOPERATION AFLOAT READINESS AND TRAINING (CARAT) 2022
BOLKIAH GARISON, Monday, 31 October 2022 – After two years of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Exercise engagements conducted virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this year’s exercise continued to be a significant platform of military-to-military cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the United States. The 28th CARAT 2022 Exercise was carried out from the 24th October until the 31st October 2022 and divided into two phases, Aviation Ground Phase and Aviation Sea Phase. This year, the lead Air Planner for the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) was Captain (U) Azhar @ Reamy bin Haji Jumat.
RBAirF PERSONNEL DEPLOYS FOR LONG RANGE NAVIGATION TO JAKARTA, INDONESIA.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Sunday, 30 October 2022 – Two Black Hawk S-70i from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) will be taking part in the Indo Defence Expo and Forum that will be held for 04 days from 02 November 2022 until 05 November 2022 at the Jakarta International Expo, Indonesia. A total of 16 personnel consisting of aircrew and engineers from the 11 Squadron, No. 1 Wing and 51 Squadron, No. 5 Wing will participate in the journey, led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Walee bin Haji Roslie, Commanding Officer of No. 1 Wing, RBAirF.
