8th BASIC AIRBORNE STATIC LINE COURSE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 29 September 2022 – 15 personnel from the Special Forces Regiment (SFR), Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) completed the 8th Basic Airborne Static Line Course which was held at the Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB) Drop Zone. Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Commander Operations Group of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). Also present during the event were officers from the RBAirF and SFR.
04 RBAirF PERSONNEL ATTENDED REGIMENT SIGNALLER OFFICER AND REGIMENT SIGNALLER WARRANT OFFICER COURSE INTAKE 2022
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 29 September 2022 – 04 personnel of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) successfully completed a Regimental Signal Officer and Regimental Signal Warrant Officer Siri 2022 in the closing ceremony which was held at School of Infantry, Penanjong Garrison. The course conducted by Signal Training Wing, School of Infantry commenced from 04 July 2022 until 30 September 2022.
NO. 2 WING RBAirF HELD AN INTER-TROOP PARADE COMPETITION
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 29 September 2022 – No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held an Inter-Troop Parade Competition at the RBAirF Headquarters Parade Ground, Rimba Air Force Base. The 2-days competition took place from 27 September 2022 until 28 September 2022 consists of 04 teams, Combined Troop (Headquarters No. 2 Wing, 233 Squadron and 520 Squadron), 238 Squadron, 236 Squadron A and 236 Squadron B.
GOH KENG SWEE COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE VISITS RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 27 September 2022 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received a visit from the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College of Republic of Singapore today. Upon arrival at the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Rimba Air Force Base (AFB), the delegation consisting of 47 Officers were welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hajah Suriani binti Haji Junaidi, Acting Chief of Staff, RBAirF. A brief entitled “Future of the Air Force: Prospects and Challenges” was presented by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Walee bin Haji Roslie, Commanding Officer of No.1 Wing, RBAirF.
ROYAL BRUNEI AIRFORCE HELD THE OPENING OF DIKIR MAULUD 1444H/2022M
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 26 September 2022 – As an expression of gratitude and love to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held the opening for Dikir Maulud to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
CENTRAL FLYING SCHOOL, THE ROYAL AIR FORCE, UNITED KINGDOM VISIT TO RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 23 September 2022 - Examiners from Central Flying School (CFS), the Royal Air Force (RAF) United Kingdom consisting of 04 Pilots and 02 Rear Crewmen, headed by Squadron Leader Morris Oxford, Officer Commanding CFS Helicopter Examinations, have visited the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). CFS is the RAF’s primary institution for the training of military flying instructors. Established in 1912, it is the longest existing flying training school.
