RBAirF HELD CEMETERY CLEANING CAMPAIGN PROJECT IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF’S 61ST ANNIVERSARY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 08 September 2022 – In conjunction with Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 61st Anniversary, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) conducted the Cemetery Cleaning Campaign Project at different locations as part of its community outreach programme today. The cleaning campaign project was de-centralized to four different locations namely, Kianggeh Muslim Cemetery, Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Cemetery, Pulaie Muslim Cemetery and Kampong Lumapas Cemetery.
BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE FIXED WING PILOT TRAINING COURSE-58 STUDENT PILOTS FIRST SOLO FLIGHT
CAMDEN, AUSTRALIA, Wednesday, 07 September 2022 – A total of 08 Student pilots undergoing Basic and Intermediate Fixed Wing Pilot Training Course-58 have completed their first solo flight at Air Combat Australia between 31 August to 07 September 2022. A student pilot’s First Solo flight is a big milestone in their journey of becoming a pilot. As tradition, to celebrate their success, a hose down was done by the flight instructors.
RBAirF COMMANDER RECEIVES FAREWELL CALL FROM OUTGOING MALAYSIA DEFENCE ADVISER
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 07 September 2022 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim received a Farewell Call from the outgoing Malaysian Defence Adviser (DA) to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Kamarudzaman bin Mohammad Thani.
MISTRAL LIVE FIRING AT BUKIT AGOK FIRING RANGE
BUKIT AGOK, Monday, 05 September 2022 – A live firing was conducted at Bukit Agok Firing Range by Officers and personnel from 238 Squadron, No. 2 Wing and 77 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). Present at the site to witness the demonstration was Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Commander of Operation Group (COG), RBAirF and Lieutenant Colonel (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, Commanding Officer, No. 2 Wing, RBAirF.
CLOSING CEREMONY AND CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION FOR MISTRAL TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE COURSE NO. 02/2022
BERAKAS GARISON, Friday, 02 September 2022 – A total of 03 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel from 520 Squadron, No. 2 Wing, RBAirF, have successfully completed their course. The Mistral Technician Maintenance Course was held for 06 weeks from 25 July 2022 to 02 September 2022.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 04 RBAirF OFFICERS
BOLKIAH GARISON, Friday, 02 September 2022 - With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 21 Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) officers, including 04 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Officers have been promoted and officiated in a ceremony that took place today at Bolkiah Garrison Officers’ Mess.
