COMMANDER ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE
SINGAPORE, Monday, 10 May 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), conducted his three-day introductory visit to the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) from 10 May 2022 to 13 May 2022.

SINGAPORE (MINDEF SINGAPORE), Wednesday, 11 May 2022 17:30 (GMT+8) - The Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Brigadier General (BG) (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim was conferred Singapore’s prestigious military award, the Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Tentera) or Meritorious Service Medal (Military) [MSM(M)], by President Halimah Yacob. Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen presented the award to BG (U) Dato Sharif Ibrahim at an investiture held at the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) earlier today.

accompanied by his successor, Lieutenant Commander Samuel S. Kim.
OPENING CEREMONY OF TADARUS AL-QUR’AN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 61ST ANNIVERSARY

– In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 61st
Anniversary, a Tadarus Al-Qur’an opening ceremony was held at Surau
Al-Barakah, Rimba AFB today. The same event was also held simultaneously
in all surau’s across other RBAF’s camps.
RBAF CONDUCTS AERIAL FIREFIGHTING IN KAMPONG RIMBA FOREST FIRES

firefighting operation to support efforts in tackling forest fires in
Kampong Rimba Gadong today.

Muslims throughout the country get to welcome Eid Al-Fitr with mass
prayers held at mosques and suraus nationwide including all within Royal
Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons, camps and bases.
