FAREWELL VISIT BY THE COMMANDER OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES TO THE ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE
Rimba Air Force Base, Thursday, 10 February 2022 – Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah Bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), made a farewell visit to the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at Rimba Air Force Base, in accordance to the COVID-19 guidelines by the Ministry of Health.
COMMANDER OF RBAirF SESSION WITH NEWLY COMMISSIONED RBAirF OFFICERS OF INTAKE 20
Rimba Air Force Base, Wednesday, 9 February 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of RBAirF, attended a session with the Newly Commissioned Royal Brunei Air Force Officers of Intake 20 as part of their 1-week induction programme before going into their respective units.
SWORD PRESENTATION CEREMONY FOR THE RBAirF NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS FROM INTAKE 20
Rimba Air Force Base, Wednesday, 09 February 2022 – A Sword Presentation Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) newly commissioned officers from Intake 20 was held at the Rajawali Lounge, RBAirF Headquarters. The Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Commander of RBAirF and the RBAirF’s Board of Executives.

BOLKOW 105 RETIREMENT FROM SERVICE EVENT

Force Base, Friday, 04 February 2022 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF)
has retired its entire fleet of MBB Bolkow 105 helicopters after 41 years of
service in a ceremony held at the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Rimba Air Force
Base. The ceremony of the retirement of the fleet, which had been operated
under No. 1 Wing, Operations Group, was attended by officers and personnel of
RBAirF, most of whom has served with Bolkow 105.
OPENING CEREMONY OF BASIC MILITARY CLERK COURSE SERIES 2/2021, RBAirF

– The Opening Ceremony of the Basic Clerk Course series 2/2021 has
commenced today at the Fire Study Classroom, Rimba AFB. Present as the
Guest of Honor was Yang Mulia WO1 (U) Azmi bin Awg Seruji, Chief Clerk
of the RBAirF. The Basic Clerk Course for Series 2/2021 will be
conducted for 6 weeks, beginning from 04 February 2022 to 18 March 2022.
