Rimba Air Force Base, Wednesday, 09 February 2022 – A Sword Presentation Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) newly commissioned officers from Intake 20 was held at the Rajawali Lounge, RBAirF Headquarters. The Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Commander of RBAirF and the RBAirF’s Board of Executives.
The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Yazid Haji Johari, the Religious Teacher of RBAirF. The Commander of RBAirF then presented the sword to the 16 newly commissioned officers, consisting of 10 male and 6 female officers. The ceremony was concluded with the recital of Doa Selamat.
The inaugural Sword Presentation Ceremony is to honour the newly commissioned officers and encourage the officers to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to them with enthusiasm and commitment upon joining RBAirF.
MAJLIS PENYERAHAN PEDANG BAGI PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI TUDB YANG BARU DITAULIAHKAN DARI PENGAMBILAN KE-20
Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba, Rabu, 09 Februari 2022- Majlis Penyerahan Pedang bagi Pegawai-Pegawai Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) yang baru ditauliahkan dari Pengambilan Ke-20 telah diadakan di Ruang Legar Rajawali, Markas TUDB. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Timbalan Pemerintah dan Badan Eksekutif TUDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Ustaz Yazid Haji Johari, Guru Agama TUDB. Pemerintah TUDB seterusnya menyerahkan pedang kepada 16 pegawai-pegawai yang baru ditauliahkan yang terdiri daripada 10 pegawai lelaki dan 6 pegawai wanita. Majlis kemudian diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat.
Majlis Penyerahan Pedang bagi julung kalinya ini diadakan bagi memberi penghormatan kepada pegawai-pegawai yang baru ditauliahkan serta memberi semangat kepada pegawai-pegawai tersebut untuk memikul tanggungjawab yang telah diamanahkan dengan penuh semangat dan komited setelah menyertai TUDB.
