6 RBAirF PERSONNEL CONCLUDED AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN SUPERVISORY UPGRADING COURSE SERIAL 41/2021
Bandar Seri Begawan, Wednesday, 24 November 2021 –
A total of 6 participants, comprising of 4 aircraft technicians and 2
TEMD engineers have completed the Aircraft Technician Supervisory
Upgrading Course Serial 41/2021 which lasted for 8 weeks from 30
September 2021 – 26 November 2021 at 75 Squadron today virtually.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major (U) Hajah Noraisah binti Haji
Abdul Fatra, Squadron Commander 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, RBAirF. Also
present were the Officer in Charge of Course Design and Development /
Continuation Training & Advisory Team (CDAD/CTAT) and instructors.
RBAIRF COMMANDER RECEIVES FAREWELL CALL FROM THE AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ADVISER TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
Rimba Air Force Base, Tuesday, 23 November 2021 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of the RBAirF received farewell call from Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hauser, the Australian Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam today at Bilik Cenderawasih, RBAirF Headquarters.
RBAirF HELD RECITATION OF SURAH YAASIN AND TAHLIL CEREMONY FOR THE FORMER RBAirF COMMANDER
Bandar Seri Begawan, Monday, 22 November 2021 – The
RBAirF held a recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil ceremony for
Allahyarham Brigadier General (RTD) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin
Haji Ma’awiyah, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence who passed
away on Friday, 19 November 2021. The ceremony was conducted virtually
throughout the RBAirF.
RBAirF RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 BATTLE – VERSATILE AIRMEN FOR MOBILE ADMIN SUPPORT TEAM (MAST)

Begawan, Jumaat, 19 November 2021 – In support of
the Ministry of Health’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, RBAirF has
deployed hundreds of personnel in varying roles. The MAST was established in
March 2020 and has continued its support to MOH to this day. This week’s
article features Sld (U) Muhammad Adham Azizi bin Haji Muhammad Zamri from No.
7 Wing deployed for Mobile Admin Support Team (MAST). Their tasks vary from day
to day, depending on the requirements from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
RBAirF MUNAJAT CEREMONY
Rimba Air Force Base, Friday, 19 November 2021 –
In the efforts of the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces
to continue its religious activities and also to prevent any further
outbreaks of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the country, the Munajat Ceremony
was held virtually in all garrisons and camps starting today and will be
done on a weekly basis.
RBAirF IN SUPPORT OF ‘OPS MASJID’
Brunei Muara District, Friday, 19 November 2021 –
Negara Brunei Darussalam has officially entered the Transition Phase
today, 3 months after the government imposed restrictions including ‘Ops
Pulih’ that saw public facilities such as places of worship, fitness
centres and schools being closed down to control the outbreak of the
second wave of COVID-19. In conjunction with the reopening of mosques to
the public, RBAF personnel were deployed to assist in ensuring the
public complied with SOPs and control measures such as scanning of QR
codes and checking of vaccination status.
