ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE AND PACIFIC AIR FORCE COORDINATES AIRMEN-TO-AIRMEN TALKS
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 11 March 2020 – Airmen-to-Airmen Talks Planning Conference between Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and Pacific Air Force (PACAF) was held successfully in Brunei Darussalam on 11 March 2020. The Co-Chairman for RBAirF is Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Hasrul Ariffin bin Pengiran Haji Rosley, the Chief of Staff, while PACAF was represented by Lieutenant Colonel Geoffrey Bowman, Chief, Southeast Asia Branch, A5I, as the Co-Chairman for PACAF.
RBAirF VISITS THE AUSTRALIAN COLLINS CLASS SUBMARINE HMAS DECHAINEUX
MUARA COMMERCIAL WHARF, Sunday, 8 March 2020 – Officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force had the privilege of having a tour of the first submarine to ever dock in Negara Brunei Darussalam, the Australian Collins Class Submarine HMAS Dechaineux. The submarine is expected to dock in the country from 7 to 9 March 2020.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 44 SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday 06 March 2020 – A promotion ceremony for 44 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) comprising of 3 First Warrant Officers (WO1), 11 Second Warrant Officers (WO2) and 30 Staff Sergeants (SSGT) took place at Dewan Punai, Rimba Air Base. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, the Commander of RBAirF. Also present for the ceremony were the RBAirF Board of Executives, Senior Officers, Officers, Senior NCOs and family members of the promoted personnel.
49TH PAKISTAN NAVY STAFF COLLEGE, PAKISTAN NAVY WAR COLLEGE VISITS RBAirF
AIR MOVEMENT CENTRE, Thursday, 05 March 2020 – The Royal Brunei Air Force received a study visit from the 49th Pakistan Navy Staff College, Pakistan Navy War College today. The delegation was led by Commodore Masood Ul Hasan SI(M), the Commandant of the Pakistan Navy Cadet College.
RBAirF PISTOL SHOOTING COMPETITION 2020
ETR Firing Range, Berakas Garrison. Thursday, 05 March 2020 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a pistol shooting competition for its officers at the ETR Firing Range, Berakas Garrison. The competition is one of the activities planned for the year 2020 and was organised by No. 2 Wing. The competition was participated by 16 groups of 4 officers each competing in the falling plate format. Additionally, officers who did not participate in the competition were given the opportunity to take part in the fun shoot practice at the 30m Firing Range, Berakas Garrison.
RBAirF PARTICIPATE IN RIADAH BERBASIKAL SEMANGAT KEBANGSAAN 2020
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 1 March 2020 - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal BolkiahMu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to participate in the cycling event ‘Riadah Berbasikal Semangat Kebangsaan 2020’ with other members of the Royal family at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.
