ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE COMMANDER ATTENDS THE 22ND ASEAN AIR CHIEFS CONFERENCE
JAKARTA, Monday, 08 September 2025 – Brigadier General (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the 22nd ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (22nd AACC) hosted by the Indonesian Air Force, in Jakarta, Indonesia from 07 September to 10 September 2025.
RBAirF PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL MAULIDUR RASUL MASS GATHERING AND PROCESSION 1447H
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 06 September 2025 – A total of 143 personnel from Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) joined His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for the mass gathering and procession in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE DIKIR MAULUD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MAULIDUR RASUL CELEBRATION 1447H/2025M
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 4th September 2025 - The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held the closing ceremony of Dikir Maulud in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday celebration at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
EXERCISE AIRGUARD 29/2025 CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY
SAFTI LIVE FIRING AREA, Singapore, Thursday, 04 September 2025 – The 29th iteration of Exercise AIRGUARD between the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) officially concluded following a closing ceremony held at SAFTI Live Firing Area. The ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General Lau Boon Ping, Chief of Staff, Air Staff, RSAF, and Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Mohammad Said, Deputy Commander of the RBAirF. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Lau Kai Heng Anthony, Commander of the Divisional Air Defence Group (DAG), RSAF and Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya, Commander of the Operations Group, RBAirF.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Sunday, 28 August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) continued its commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday celebration by holding a Dikir Gema Marhaban Event in conjunction with Maulidul Rasul at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE RECEIVES VISIT OF F-35A LIGHTNING II FROM ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE AT AIR MOVEMENT CENTRE, RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Saturday, 30 August 2025 – Two F-35A Lightning II fighter aircraft from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) made their first visit to Rimba Air Force Base, marking the debut of the RAAF’s fifth- generation fighter capability in Brunei Darussalam. The aircraft were accompanied by a KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport, which provided refuelling, logistics, and passenger support for the deployment.
