ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE OFFICERS COMPLETE INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE 25/2025
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 02 October 2025 – A total of 14 officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) have successfully completed the Intermediate Staff Course (ISC) 25/2025 held at the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), Kampung Tanah Jambu. The course ran for 14 weeks and aimed to develop future leaders capable of operating in complex joint environments.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE BASE DEFENCE INSTRUCTOR, ADVANCED BASE DEFENCE, BASIC BASE DEFENCE AND BASIC DRONE, JAMMER & DETECTION SYSTEM COURSES 2025/2026
PENANJONG GARISSON, Thursday, 02 October 2025 – The Closing Ceremony of the Base Defence Instructor Course, Advanced Base Defence Course, Basic Base Defence Course, and Basic Drone, Jammer & Detection System Course 2025/2026 was held at Fibua Village, Penanjong Garrison. The courses were conducted by No. 77 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Training Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
COMPLETION OF BASIC AND ADVANCED ROTARY WING PILOT TRAINING COURSE
CAMDEN, AUSTRALIA, Wednesday, 01 October 2025 – A significant milestone was reached for four (4) Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Student Pilots from 73 Squadron, No. 7 Wing. Lieutenant (U) Abdul Qawie bin Abidin, Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Abdul Syakir bin Haji Basri, Lieutenant (U) Abdurra’uf bin Abd Aziz and Lieutenant (U) Ahmad Waqiuddin bin Haji Ahmad Mahyuddin successfully completed their Basic and Advanced Rotary Wing Pilot Training (BARWPT) program at Air Combat Australia (ACA), Sydney. Each Student Pilot completed a total of 91 flying hours on the Bell Jet Ranger 206 BIII.
SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AUDITING COURSE
KAMPONG RIMBA, Wednesday, 01 October 2025 – A total of 13 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel, including those from the Inspectorate Unit has successfully completed the Safety Management System Auditing Course conducted by Megamas Training Company Sendirian Berhad. The two-day training, held from 30 September to 01 October 2025, aimed to provide valuable insights into the principles and practices of conducting effective audits within an organisational safety framework.
RBAirF COMMENCE CEMETERY CLEANING CAMPAIGN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 64TH ANNIVERSARY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 30 September 2025 - Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) conducted the first series of the Cemetery Cleaning Campaign at several locations today as part of its Community Outreach Programme in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 64th Anniversary.
FOUNDATION LAYING CEREMONY FOR AIR DEFENCE CAPABILITY INFRASTRUCTURE, NO. 2 WING HEADQUARTERS, HANGAR 238 AND MRAD HANGAR
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 30 September 2025 - The Foundation Laying Ceremony for the proposed new Air Defence Capability building that includes No. 2 Wing Headquarters, Hangar 238 and Medium Range Air Defence (MRAD) Hangar, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) was held at the project site in Rimba Air Force Base.
